"ATI have for many years had their hands tied with laptop manufacturers (OEMS) who request that ATI do not offer support for their device in the Catalyst Driver. This may seem strange, however makers such as Dell may have implemented their own support system and they do not want their customers downloading "reference" drivers from ATI's home page."

my old inspiron 8600 blue screen problem
shit .... left 12 days before warranty goes off

what is the blue screen error code/msg? can run the dell diagnostic test to confirm the hardware condition first.

is there a proper way to remove the 10gb recovery partition? Delete the whole partition from the windows disk management tool? seriously, have anyone used the dell system recovery before? biggrin.gif

use partition magic to merge the partition will do i suppose, will do that once i'm free

Intel(R) Core™2 Duo Processor T5500
Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium 32 bit
15.4" Wide Screen XGA TFT Display: 1280x800
1GB (2 X 512MB) 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
120GB SATA Hard Drive
256MB ATI Mobility™ Radeon(R) X1400 Hypermemory
all for RM3142

quite satisfy wif it, i'm thinking of getting a laptop cooler for it, any1 has some good recommendation? how bout coolermaster notepal?

another question, is there any possibilities to upgrade my X1400 to a DX10 mobility gc???

that damn cheap....
i bought mine at 4.6k
the differents is i get 1xgb ram, i get winxp + vista business(not included the shipping fee yet)

Notepal is nice but it doesnt cool much on ur system.
i'm still getting 60c everytime.
Probably find a DIY cooler where u can change the voltage to speed up the fan.

how to enable my wireless to discover available network? after format my6400 the wireless got problem ler..


Added on April 24, 2007, 1:35 ammy wifi catcher not enable.....i try to install the intel wireless pro from the dell cd...but it seem it cant run ...

and install it....

dling now...i got my laptop today..is the cd come with the latest driver?
for the wireless...when i install the driver, the installation just run then suddenly close on its own...

as for my blue tooth....cannot find adapter...need to install again

just call Dell & inform them about the problem. if they need you to take the pic & send to them then just do it. normally they will ask a technician to check ur lappy. smile.gif
