Just changed the atf back to dex-III a few hours ago, still producing a loud clicking sound. I guess it's already damaged something, sounds like somewhere in the flexplate area. Thanks for everyone who helped. I guess I'll just have to wait for the inevitable gb failure. sp3 is way too light of a fluid for that gb.

It's not light that cause the damage, it's sp3 contain much higher friction modifier that too slippery thst cause damage.

A little update. Don't think it's the gearbox. Sounds like the valve or tappet. During the atf change I changed the motor oil as well to some D2 brand10w-30 semi syn. Oil is probably to thin. Going to change that oil as well.

what P2 car will use the red bottle SP3 ?

Only Viva/Kelisa/Kenari uses the green bottles, anything else using the red bottle sp3 (even Axia).

As I know, red bottle is backward compatible to the cars that using green bottles (red is a bit more expensive)

Are you sure? Stated in Alza manual that the ATF should be D3-SP, not SP3. It's two different specs.

It's the same thin.

Sp3 = 4 speed atf
D3-sp, Perodua own naming scheme
