Eastern Conference not competitive back then?...wat rubbish, look at how bloody strong it was back then, with Celtics, Detroit, Orlando, Pacers, Knicks....MJ did not have a smooth road to the Finals, and he wants Lakers to move to the East?....
Currently the East are also not too shabby with Cleveland, Detroit, Miami, even Washington is not one to look down... |

haha, "big shot rob"?!?!...more like "Big Ego Rob" now, he shud realise that without the 80's style of playing, there wouldn't be any 90's style of playing...back then players are way crazier and punches fly harder than any1 to the court....Reggie, MJ, Magic, Kareem, Bird, Isiah Thomas, Spud, Dr.J, Kevin Smith, Sir Charles, Hakeem, Patrict Ewing...many many more these are the people that actually expanded the NBA, without them, you cannot imagine how Lebron James would be...he might even take up another sport or something...

hmm, as much as i see how Lakers play do, when he shares the ball, his teammates are just not scoring the basket, they have good players, but they rely too much on Kobe, yes he is undoubtfully 1 of the best scorers in the league, but hey, he's not Superman...
his teammates are not stepping up to help push the team...just like what Garnett is experiencing... |

hopefully he could cope with the NBA, there were a few Chinese players in NBA back then, Wang Zhizhi, Mengke Battier was 1 if not mistaken, and Yao....
but Yi shud juz stay with Bucks for a while and learn the game, it's definitely different than the CBA, play for 1-2 years, then prolly switch teams then...hheh |

Bibby for Cavs, but lose Gooden and Jones, personally they can lose Jones, but not Gooden, he crashes the board a lot and that's 1 of the reasons that they are the no.1 offensive rebounding team in the league....prolly shud throw back Scot Pollard back at them...xD

7 footers are indeed rare in NBA nowadays....u keep getting ppl playing guards...it's like players are shrinking already....Darko juz needs more playing time and a better coach to guide him through...that's all....

QUOTE(scorgio @ Jul 15 2007, 02:56 PM) I disagree. yeapz...either way, the big man is still the guy to really lead a team....screens, boards, inside scoring, u name it the team's gotta have it....Take away Tim Duncan, Parker won't enjoy as much space as he currently does. Take away Shaq from Miami, other teams have the privilege to double Wade. Just look at LA, without Shaq in the middle, where r they now? And why was Oden taken ahead of Durant? Guards had more ball possessions, more shot attempts (since they're holding the ball more often) & score more points. Thus grabbing the headlines. For the past 25 years, with exception to the 6 titles won by Jordan led Bulls. Every other champion had at least a solid big man down low, if not great. |

right, he's prolly whining abt playing time....but has to understand the fact that he's still a rookie and CBA is definitely different than the NBA...

Kidd is definately the guy to watch...xD...dun let Lebron hold the ball too much, he has the highest turnovers among his team members if not mistaken, with 7....>.>...Dwight Howard had 4 PF...dang...

with Kidd still showing he has the moves and all, and those triple-doubles...the man still has his touch to distribute, score, and rebound...
