the most interesting free agent to me would be Chauncey Billups.....i wonder whether he would resign with Detroit or go to another team?....i wish it would be the Cavs...xD....prolly would fit in well, since Eric Snow is old, Daniel Gibson is young (but effective), Damon Jones (needs to get outta there, srsly)

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jul 1 2007, 07:20 PM) Damon Jones?! I like his looks. Dont ask me why, i just like his low-esteem and his attitude among the team at the bench. He is like the joker in the team... Dont deny his 3pointers though... yea, true enough that his 3 pointers are sharp, but then the Mike Brown seldom plays him....Cavs shud free up some salary cap space for a better PG...that's what i think that is...XD....other than that, they are pratically fine in other aspects...juz needs more consistency that's all...

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jul 1 2007, 11:14 PM) Sweet ~ Just when i was thinking of Varejao and the Cavs, an article just popped up Cavs extend qualifying offers to Pavlovic, VarejaoJune 30, 2007SourceSeems like Varejao and Pavlovic will be accepting those offers and after a fantastic ending with a Eastern Conference Champion and playoff finals appearance, i bet both of them might still give the team another shot. personally i love Pavlovic, but i do hate Varejao at times....he does too many stupid things though, juz like the last shot during the finals...i was like OMFG!!, Pass the ball , though he did play some crazy defense on Duncan, but still.... Pavlovic on the other hand is different, he is really good, hope to see him to have more minutes in the game....

pity KG though, pretty good player and if not mistaken, was an MVP?..but sticking with the wrong team, he has the passion to win, where as his team mates are all, happy-go-lucky and think that KG could do everything....that's prolly 1 of the many reasons he's leaving i guess....

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jul 4 2007, 10:04 AM) Billups... Not surprised that he re-sign again with Detroit.. After those long years and accomplishment with the team, how can he ever leave just like that. Well maybe if he is already comfortable with those championship rings he has now... I am more interested in where Rashard Lewis is gonna go. Leaving the Sonics and heading for Orlando is probably the most possible thing for now for Lewis. Still he wont be staying in the Sonics for sure, especially when he has to compete with rookie players of the same position in the team. Rashard Lewis?...he's been quite quiet as well...last time quite a lot of highlights from him though....Sonics is prolly rebuilding their team i guess...2 new rookies...woohoo!! QUOTE(wayne_chen @ Jul 4 2007, 10:33 AM) If Billups leave... I hope he can join Cleveland... yea, Billups would fit in well in Cleveland as well...i must agree with you on that point..

awww, Randolph joined Knicks already, so Portland would have to rely on Greg Oden then...xD.....
talking abt Kidd, i've been a fan of him since his days at Dallas....man he was awesome as well...1st Dallas player to be an All-star as well..xD...

best combo?...pulling out MJ with Pippen, i would say it must be Stockton and Malone...srsly the best 1-2 punch in the NBA....or a good guard, it would be Kidd in his prime...he can make players around him good as well....
Duncan and Dirk's game are not really similar...Duncan is possibly the more inside player, while Dirk is the more mid-range and long-range jumper type of forward...of course you mustn't count out that Duncan could also shoot mid-range jump shots....and if you see closely, Duncan's footwork inside is better than Dirk's.
Dirk is usually the post then run and a shot, Duncan is usually the post, take it inside and score, or juz pass it out to avoid the double team...

yea, Hakeem was really crazy though, a Center, but dribbles like a guard and shoots like 1 as well...my goodness, the way he shoots the ball is a big rainbow curve....remember the finals where he shamed David Robinson properly...i was like awed at the way he played the game...

Yeah. He's the benchmark of agility for a center. His footwork's amazing. Hey, but he & Robinson quite evenly matched in their series (1995 West Final, Rockets won 4-2). He did embarassed O'Neal in the 1995 Finals. [/quote] oh, it was this 1 game, where Robinson can't really do anything to him, it was seriously insanely good, the head-fake twice and turn and shot, wow....he's training Yao now if not mistaken...

yea, that record will be held by LBJ already....but he's been living up to that hype...a lot of other stars are also getting pressured by Jordan's presence back then, every1 is looking at "the next Jordan"....so far i would say that Kobe, LBJ are making their own name, though they are still branded to become the next Jordan...Grant Hill was 1 of them, but injuries to him are common...

i'm sure with the hype of Greg Oden, he'll be given quite a pressure from LBJ as LBJ was the "thing" 4 years back...ppl would start comparing him with other star players or other 1st draft picks...
