QUOTE(jumpman23 @ Aug 29 2007, 10:21 AM) that is from Larry Bird Jordan is a good defender to me, he has the highest steals per game (dunno which season), and the peak era of him, he got 30-8-8 season, almost triple double u know. when he had his highest score vs cleveland, besides 69 points, he had 18 rebounds too. he is good in both end, just that his airness and high scoring overpowered it. and he is smart too, hardly get fouled out, plus he has great and reliable teammate so that he can concentrate more on offense. Lmao...MJ's gonna have a dejavu session with Kwame traded in for the likes of Okafor haha haha haha Phoenix doesn't need Odom, they've got marion and stoudemire, they should be so dumb to trade away Nash's apprentice in the form of Barbossa Make a different prayer request mate lol i heard that many teams dun wan to deal with lakers because they won't let go bynum. |

USA team improves a lot in field goal and 3 point shooting, and put pressure in defensive which is a good sign. If not wrong max point allow is 100, others just won in huge lead.
well, this is just qualifying, real challenge in BEIJING 2008! |

If LBJ born in 1960, he will be a player like mike, trust me is the commercials and marketing that make a player a "god". plus that time, NBA is attended by higher class audience, not like now, all hip hoppers.
the environment has changed, shift to new era man! This post has been edited by jayhan: Sep 11 2007, 04:26 PM |

jonathan, i was about to speak the same thing.
after i read XXL july, it reminds me of the 1984 draft, sam bowie selected by the portland. he is a good man but injuries haunt him... then he is after all, not becoming a great player like Hakeem or Jordan (1st an 3rd pick). They get laughed by many years until now, coz of this "bad" pick. until 2007, despite low posibilities, ROY is damn lucky that day, he led the portland to first pick and selected oden. But the good luck turns to hard luck because oden need surgery and out of his rookie season. This really reminds me of the 1984 moment.... but i think this time the situation is different gua, hope so, oden is such a great talent, look at his face, does he look like a 19 yr old kid?! Get well soon Oden, US basketball needs u |

yes, nba has rules that players can't go for some extreme sports. Players will be fined if do so.
pls note that oden has huge body, so getting up from couch and hurt himself appears logical to me. Perhaps he should change the way he sit, or change a better couch compare to portland, the spurs are much luckier team. They selected D.Robinson and T.Duncan just about the right time, lift the spurs up and both of them are damn healthy. what to argue? luck perhaps |

from what i know is, Don Nelson knows the weak links of Notwitzki. Because Dirk is the core, so the warriors do double teaming, defense disturbance to kacau him, make him no use. [something like pistons vs lakers, wow the gary payton look like he is "off the court", no contribution]
so dirk is annoyed, the whole team spirit is down too. Plus, the 4-5 position (PG and SG) of Mavs is short and fragile, that's why baron and co. who is super fast and hyper brave, gets into the paint easily. well during last final, Dwyane Wade single handedly destroy the defense right? Their guard is not powerful enough. another thing, how is feel when u game in a "bee hive" with a shouting more than 100dB? Concentration definitely will lose there. And during the regular season, Warriors already beat Mavs several times, their confidence is high rise man. but warriors do have weak part, where they showed it in game vs Jazz. Yes, it's rebound and defense. They dun have a strong Center, thats y Boozer is dominating in that series. |
