Also they tend to shield the ball and you cant do anything

In legendary:
Lower rated team/low chem = godmode on if they're losing
High rated team/full chem = beatable for me but low score

Actually, you can take advantage when they put on full attacking mode.
Easier to counter attack but need to be patience when defending.

Well .. One 'cheat' you can use in SB is that change from 'tactical defending' to 'legendary defending' in the controller setting.. Haha..

any tips on defending besides jockeying , teammate contain?

its so frustrating to defend in fifa18

any tips on defending against 4321 formation.. usually lose after leading 3 to 4 goals in the first half..very OP..my cbs are really done for it

Personally, I didn't use teammate contain .. but I often use jockey and contain .. the contain is so useful when tracking/turning to the opponent ..

u have to endure it... L0L
usually i hold the contain button to get close to the attacker, and only commit to a tackle when have to. rarely use teammate contain

Any good player that you got from FUT Champs rewards ?

Mine was GOLD 2 and prefer to keep it and open with the SB rewards later .. huhuhu

PSA if u have levante or Albacete Bpie players, sell them as they go for >9k

Also Valencia, can go for nearly 4k

IF Alessandrini is a cheap beast, IF Fabra is basically a cheaper but stronger Jordi Alba for 1/5th the price. Recommend getting them both.
