The only side effects will be improved lipid profile QUOTE(degraw1993 @ Sep 1 2017, 09:38 PM) Wow.. i actually been slimming down naturally, even I go to gym also didn't take the wheat protein, dunno shall take or not. Curious about the fat burner, seem like the side effect is pretty big. Now not sure worth to try not. Thank you so much guys for sharing it with me |

QUOTE(dayalan86 @ Sep 2 2017, 01:42 PM) Karate and Gym. Going into swimming ASAP. No supplements. Nutrition? No also. Eat economy rice? Mostly I will opt for Chicken Breast and egg in every lunch. At night I drink Milo and eat some light biscuits mostly. Hence, I am slimming down |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 5 2017, 07:33 AM) Supplement is for u to top up whatever you are missing from your diet or help you to 'expedite' if this fat burner ever works. You dont even know how much you are on deficit. So no, you dont need fat burner. QUOTE(dayalan86 @ Sep 5 2017, 09:08 AM) Yeap exactly, since you are on extreme dieting; adding the fat burner will cause massive problem in your health. There is always a fallacy in weight loss, it is not about just slimming down but ensuring that you are healthy from the inside out; by taking care of your metabolism. We don't realise the damage we are causing to our bodies now, but it shows up when we are slightly older (from our mid 30s to 40s). I see. Then how about Whey Protein? Supplements may help but if proper nutrition from food is not there, then weight loss will happen along with muscle loss. QUOTE(donald88 @ Sep 5 2017, 04:05 PM) I didn't realized that QUOTE(check17 @ Sep 11 2017, 12:01 PM) I would suggest to sstay away form supplements unless you are following a stright diet/exercise regime. I mean, taking ine or two supplements (whatever they are) but still not having ur nutrition or excercicse in place leads nowhere. But if u have no option, intead of supplement I woul recommend something more natural. Such as Apple cider vinegar in water before meals, Or Macca and Spirulina powder. Thank you for the input Thank you so much to all of you as well |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 12 2017, 10:58 PM) As I said, if you do not know your macros, you do not know how much extra u need to supplement. A scoop of 20-25g protein from whey wont do you benefit if other stuff you eat is...unknown of their macros. Ok, that's really interesting view on this. Thank you on that. I will look into thisQUOTE(degraw1993 @ Sep 5 2017, 04:47 PM) QUOTE(degraw1993 @ Sep 12 2017, 11:06 PM) Are you trying to increase your post count or what? QUOTE(degraw1993 @ Sep 13 2017, 02:03 AM) Oh really? Then let me ask you and your purpose of creating this thread? Do u know what u are doing? Ur just wasting ur time following ur so called friend advice have to take whey after workout lmao. Let me make it really easy for you. The irony of asking for fat burner now whey? What's next? How to build tone muscle? 1. Purpose The purpose is pretty clear cut, I wanted to know whether there are people who have experienced with fat burner or not. Because I am thinking to consume it to expedite my fat loss goal. 2. Why from Fat Burner to Whey? Since we are discussing about fat burner which is a supplement, of course it will lead to Whey, because besides discussing here, definitely I also discussed with my friend about it. Fat burner, Whey and Amino Acid. 3. You just pointed it out yourself very frankly. You said it was wasting time to follow my so called "Friend" advice. Now I tell you this right on you, without opening this thread, I will not realize this. So now see the purpose of this thread. It will not lead to how to build tone muscle, because it's not part of the subject. Supplement. Note: You have contributed nothing in this thread. I didn't realize it because of you. It was because of other helpful forumers which I am grateful and really appreciate their efforts. Particularly lingleeyen. Just because you working out and knew something more than me. You don't need to be a jerk and come here bossing around. You are also a beginner and dunno nothing before. Don't need to go that low. |

QUOTE(bafukie @ Sep 13 2017, 08:53 AM) ^ this ftw. Ignore the guy la, just because he thought he was good he can simply jump on ppl. Says alot abt his attitude. I have to give credit though, he looks good with 6 pack abs, BUT only when he's nekked. With clothes on, he doesn't look like he lifts. Enough of rant, please read up on the foundation of weight loss, here are some pointers to Google: caloric deficit, tdee, setting up macros ratio. QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 13 2017, 09:18 AM) Thank you. I have actually read the stickies just now, I am supposed to be sleeping but since I am quite overwhelmed with other activities and jobs, barely got time to do so. Which is why I am still awake now. Ok, I understand your answer about no need for whey protein and go for macros. QUOTE If i get RM 1 everytime i say this I could have bouvght a bungalow in Cheras. Calorie in < calorie out for fat loss. There you go. The only information that you need. This is exactly what I am following actually haha. My current objective is simple, I am a foodie, so i am born to eat. I don't like been restricted down to anything. Yea, I also lazy to calculate calories So, for some reason.. i figured that if I eat a lot for my brunch, and just have light meal for dinner like milo with biscuits (yea, i knew all these sugary biscuits got lots of calories) , then I will slim down. And since 2016 , I had slimmed down a lot. From 89kg to 77kg and everyone noticed i had slimmed down. That's why the makcik sell rice for me, shocked and wondered how i slimmed down, because she saw me ate a lot in lunch. Even my colleagues also was like, Mas, you eat a lot . My size is quite similar to this dude. Before and After. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=86171228 Few months ago, I began to go gym. Now my aim is to maintain my way of eating but to continue to slim down by increasing activities, I got my exercises from my karate training. So I wanna tone up my muscle (opps into the muscle toning topic, but it's necessary for me to explain) . My idea is, increase muscle mass equals to burn more calories. Burn more calories equals to slimming down. Now the problem is, when i heard the thingy called fat burner, i was interested. Because I want to burn the fat down faster since I am toning my muscle. Got abs.. got nice figure, who don't want? Then, the side effect seem to be a lot. There are a lot of different kinds and fat burner is to increase metabolism and can be very heaty. SO when fat burner out, next thing in the list is Whey Protein. This is because I noticed even though I have been going to gym, i found that my muscle seem to be take more time to tone up. Even my friend said that. Hence he suggested whey protein to expedite the toning process. I figure if it can expedite means it increase the muscle mass faster hence burn calories faster and so on. So now I understand where you coming from QUOTE My advice. Count ur calories. Adjust. Train hard with beginners programme. Now im bulking at 2600kcal and all those 6 packs intact with 8 packs showing ocassionally if i take less carbs the night before. Additional calories will be converted into fats. So if didn't do macros and consume whey may eventually lead to increase of calories intake which resulted having the opposite effect from my initial goal. And also, my first set of 6 packs, I did not do any abs related exercise. Just heavy squat heavy deads tightening my whole kinetic chain through my training. By the way, when you said you got those 6 packs , without doing any abs related exercise, is it nicely toned 6 packs? Or just like everyone else.. got 6 packs visible on the tummy but yea .. just like that . My apology for going out from the topic but since we are here , might as well just ask. Conclusion, tomorrow I will explore myfitness apps. I had done the IIFYM thingy. I chose I work as those office job (which I am but I also went to meet clients sometime and need to carry heavy boxes.) Protein Grams: 146 Fat Grams: 68 Carbs Grams: 174 Fiber Grams: 25-34 When all of these macros are added up, you get a total of 1893 calories. These calories are based on your personal TDEE, which the IIFYM Calculator estimated at 2227 QUOTE(RoofTopPrince @ Sep 13 2017, 10:30 AM) I kinda agree with you bro, when he build up his muscle doesn't mean he can be *sshole to everyone... Btw for fat burner maybe can try out Grenade Thermo. thank you. Currently decided not to go for fat burner, don't like its side effect haha. Nevertheless, thank you everyone who had contributed to this thread. |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 14 2017, 10:19 AM) No you have no macros set up before this and you are eating main bantai, so no, you do not follow macros. Thank you very much. I am a foodie too and I do not deprive myself from anything or any occasion. I simply adjust. If you are lazy to calculate then just stay where you are. I don't think you understand the underlaying problem that you are facing now when you are fat and wanting to loose. Hey, I was fat and short once before. I know what went wrong, and calculated the wrong calories was my mistake. Your brunch and you snack might be well over your TDEE. How to loose if like that? Remember, we are the fat ones. Fat ones do not have the luxury of getting away with eating crap and keep loosing. Muscles take years to build. Fats take weeks to loose. And supplement stays as supplement, not food. If you do not know what you are eating and how much you are eating, why supplement? Don't waste money. Keep those money to buy food. And your friend's advice has become rubbish at the wrong time. 1 serving of whey is 120kcal. 1 pcs of oreo is 40. 3 oreos is 120. So no, if your diet is like shit, whey is the least likely thing to add to your damage. My 1st set of abs, with no direct work. [attachmentid=9133030] Although I can't say I 100% understand you but I roughly get your point. I will look into Macros and TDEE. And, that's really very inspiring. Happy to see that. Nice body figure you have I shall close this thread now. Thank you everyone |
