Just want to ask everyone what is the major difference for P78 and P99? (Currently the umobile site is a bit jam)

I saw the "no-cap" bit but P99 is still running Video-Onz which cap Youtube @ 480p, which makes me wonder what is the actual cap for other sites that I'm not aware of? Perhaps Astro On The Go and other K-drama sites. I dont think Umobile has cap gaming stream like Twitch yet.

One let down is the Roam-Onz has decreased from 5GB to 3GB/mo.

Hotspot ok la capped at 30 GB but the worst thing is Video Onz.

hi all, I have some questions regarding to this new P99 plan. Hope some1 can answer me.

1. Im currently P98 user, will my P98 be auto converted to P99?

2. I only found Video-onz available for P99 on their official website, how about App-onz and Music-onz?

3. if I put the P99 sim into a wifi modem dongle device to serve as my home wifi, it counts on 30 Gb mobile hotspot portion or unlimited data portion?

this new p99 is upgrade of p98?

it specify in the terms this p99 sim only available for phone usage

only additional line rm20 sim can be put in other than phone devices and it share the 30gb quota

so wanna take this or not... i'm in dilemma now

For P70, if you can't finish 15GB per month then don't upgrade, as many have access to home WiFi regularly.

P70 is generally better for 1080p, 720p streaming site which are limited by Video-Onz. If you can tolerate 480p (switch to wifi for 720p+) and regularly watch non-Video-Onz site (like Twitch) then P78 is not a bad deal.

If compared to my current P98 plan which i use as my home wifi, we fully exploit video, app, music-onz becuase they are unlimited without deducting from the 30gb data.
If converted to P99, no app and music-onz, it means my usage which previously consume the app and music-onz will now using the 30gb hot-spot wifi portion.
for my case, the unlimited data is worthless, wat i need is unlimited hotspot. unless my dongle wifi is considered as mobile data usage instead hotspot.

Any other than mobile phone will use your hotspot quota (30GB). Unlimited quota only applicable on mobile phone. Video-ON is to put all 99 Unlimited users in check.

Even Webe throttles video streaming so this is not really surprising.

seems no, as video onz is not shared. but better ask P78 users. the setting for P99 n P78 should be same
