True that. Apart from Valencia's goal, we got 0 attempt on goal before that 3 goals galore. Lukaku was seriously isolated upfront. No service from the midfield to him. DDG had to make 2 or 3 saves in between. The scoreline did not reflect what happened on the field really. I got the feeling had Valencia did not score that wonder goal, the match would have ended 0-0.

whatever it is, a win is a win and obviously this team is a lot better than past few years.

as long as the team keep winning, i dont mind how they play. .

The pattern is quite similar with last year, low shots on target but difference is we are converting the chances.

Before the 3 goals was already preparing for 1-1. Lucky rooney was subbed. He was pulling the strings before koeman decided to skip midfield and go direct. That made the game box to box and suited our style. Their team was stretched after that.

i think mou was preparing for 1-0 win when he sub in herrera and pass the ball around. rooney looking good but the luck came when william made the mistake. game over when miki score. the game werent suited to our style coz of koeman subs. nothing much can everton do after the 2nd goal. DDG save from sandro shot were great tho.. 3rd goal ball came to lukaku, 4th simply some brilliant foot work from martial

Everton would have adopted a more cautious approach had we not score the first goal. Also the foul on lingard leading to the 3rd goal was abit soft tbh. We had quite the luck this game.

luck is required when winning a championship... in the past all of the EPL champions do have their lucky matches few times too... so we just take it that god is giving us his blessing to win the EPL championship haha...

Mou was waiting for Everton to open up. At 1-0, Everton was pushing us especially on the 2nd half. But Mou just cool and didn't revert to defensive formation. Instead he sub in lingard, Herrera and Martial.
I think he was pretty confident our defence was able to deal with the bombardment.
Once we got the 2nd goal, the floodgate open.
If he reverted to defensive mode earlier, we might only win 1-0 or worse everton got the last min equaliser.

Mou is a master when it comes to defence. He already had Matic and Fellaini defending quite deep in the 2nd half, essentially having 6 defenders. Only when MU got the ball did they go on the offensive.
