I am saying that we should put more effort in attacking Liverpool defense. Granted our player were kinda shit last night but I believe partly it was because of how Jose setup the team. Teams like Burnley and Newcastle went to Anfield and got a draw. Are we on the same par with them? Yes, it's always a special game between Liverpool and Man Utd, but last night game was very hard to watch. Basically, no improvement from last season game at Anfield. Why can't we play normally? If by playing normally means we gonna lose, then I am lost for words.
We still have Chelsea, City, and Spurs away. That's 3 games and they are better than Liverpool. Had Liverpool be more clinical last night, we would have been battered. I am grateful with the 1 point but how we played last night should and can better.
like what mourinho said, the football is like a chess. U plan your next move based on on your opponent's. With Utd losing pogba, carrick and fellaine, we can only put up matic/herrera against a 3 men midfielder from liverpool. we can cleary see that we were overrun in the midfield. That's y he's set up his team to sit deep and attack on the counter. JM is counting on Klopp to change the formation in putting another attacker and go all out to score and win the game. That's no brainer as liverpool is playing at home, trailing utd 7 points and not winning in the last 7 games. Yet, klopp was being cautious and keep the same formation until the final whistle. Only if he opens up, I guess Utd will be able to score late on
Also, if JM go for the offensive from start, it will be devastating if liverpool score first, as clearly we can't match them in the midfield. It might even end up like what happened to Arsenal.
JM was waiting for the window of opportunity, but it never come.
Not forgetting, Utd usually are losing a bit of form and momentum everytime after an international break. Of course i would not like this type of performance, but it it more important being pragmatic.
