QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Oct 15 2019, 09:10 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « i tot local already know. anyway, TCCP or formally known before as CFAL is the same organizer. CFAL already reached 10th year of organizing, thats why organizer change the name. still, u can ghost ma. we all stay at feringgi, and cycle from there around 6.30am. my calculation, half and hour from feringgi by bicycle and can make it on time for flaq off, but few off my friend had technical issue. so we reach around 8.00am at the venue. so we had to take the bicycle lane to avoid any incident Ipoh foldies, syabas! On your fun ride round islandπ

That day I ride my adik ipar punya Bike, that bike got 3 chain rings, 8 speed. Kelam kabut i jadi. Too many front chain rings also can be confusing.
So, double chain rings sudah cukuplah, i rasa. Tak perlu triple.

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Oct 21 2019, 10:50 AM) hahaha...Β i had 20speed bike, but i used only 1 cog, and very malas to change gear but my leg are not that strong Saya juga jenis pemalas tukar gear But Especially naik bukit kena tukar la, cannot escape. Kaki tak kuat juga. I switched pinjam to use my adik ipar punya bike. 3 chain rings. I always confused which gear when down hill. That's why, I very much prefer flat roads. use only 1 chain ring. Less tukar gear. Can use the same gear through out the whole ride. π This post has been edited by vhs1: Oct 26 2019, 01:25 AM

QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Oct 21 2019, 09:30 AM) i only have one opinion - if leg no power, give you 3x11 oso no use. so just get whatever you feel like it first and start training your legs. once your legs are powerful enough, even ride single speed also can tapau the group. Hehe 3 x. Very confusing indeed too. I was testing my brother in law bike I changed gears till chain fell off from rear cassette or front rings. Lol I really noob at 3x π€ͺ I change left and right shifters too fast during inclination , dunno what gears until chain drop many times. π€ͺ I'll stick to 2x, more than sufficient on flats. Or even on a bit hilly terrain This post has been edited by vhs1: Oct 26 2019, 01:45 AM

QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Oct 26 2019, 02:02 AM) How can u confuse? Shifter there got indicate ma... Mine is a 3x8. Most of the time front chainring I only alternate between middle and the largest one. So in a way of saying, it's like a 2x lah. Of this few months of flat road riding, very very rare I would be using the smallest chainring. But it's good to know that you have it when you need it. Like when climbing a steep incline, for example Dragonback 1st and last slope. Indicator? Wait ya... When free I go check and take pic on the shifter Cause I only pinjam ride his bike for 1 day only, now returned edi. I noob one on this.
