what time are you riding up there?
I am newbie on foldie based in Penang too. last 2 weeks drove up to Air Itam dam and ride up into the Goh Hean Temple from there.
Still hesitating to ride from Kek Lok Si kaki bukit to Air Itam Dam cry.gif
*
I rode up at 3.40pm yesterday. I've never rode up to Ngor Hean temple but I think if you can ride up there, you should have no problem riding from bottom up to Air Itam dam.

EDIT: According to this article, difficulty of riding up to Air Itam dam is 3/5 while Air Itam dam to Ngor Hean is 3.5/5 which is slightly harder.

azamunekurone did you remove your Verge D9's fenders? I find that my rear fenders somehow or rather always get too close to my wheel, causing the wheel not to be able to spin properly.

Not sure if this is known issue. hmm.gif

My D9 stock left pedal came off partially while climbing. Had to push the remaining distance home. Will shop for a spanar / plier to see if I just needed to reinstall the pedal or had to shop for a pair of new pedals.

ouch...the thread damange?

Managed to remove the pedal & its thread seems OK. However, I think the crank's thread is not OK. There's a lot of thin wire poking out of the crank's thread surface & I can't fully install the pedal back. sad.gif

Will have to bring it back to Rodalink for further inspection.

Same bro. I had this problem too. Mines on the right paddle. Same model, D9 same colour also. I think crank thread also damaged. I managed to screw it back in but I dunno how long it will remain screwed in. I have yet to go back to Rodalink for inspection and servicing.

Do post update when u go Rodalink for inspection.
*
I brought it to Rodalink yesterday & they managed to screw the pedal back in. Koh as usual was being very helpful but his fellow colleagues weren't explaining much but hey, as long as they can fix it back, not gonna complain much.

Had them remove my fenders as well since the bike looks way better without them.

Koh advised me to check the pedals once in a while to see if it has loosen up.

Ouch... I found Shimano SD5 but the price memang harga Yahudi. sweat.gif With that being said, I'm also looking for a portable rear wheel stand like the one you have below but I read that the size might not be able to fit all types of bicycle, especially the width. Yours no problem to fit foldie?

anyone here using MKS FD-7 folding pedal? hows the bearing? smooth?
*
While I've never used that particular model, just curious if there's any use for a folding pedal apart from allowing the foldie to be more compact when folded?

azamunekurone can I check with you what's the function of this part for the Tern Verge series? Can it be removed? I think my chain is rubbing against it when I use gear 8 & 9.

My understanding is to prevent the chain from drop-off the chain-ring and scratch the frame or crank, even though you don't have a FD. Also the difficulty and dirty to mount back the chain when you are outside cycling.

Sure it can be removed but be aware of the risk. I think you can adjust it by loosen/tighten and rotating it slightly around the seat post there.

it chain guide. its prevent the chain from fall out fron ur front chainring. its normal if got rubbing, as long ur chain didnt fall out. it can be adjusted to avoid that chain rub

Thank you both for the info. Will adjust it accordingly.

If your bike / saddle is still new, give it some time. I think it's impossible to expect 0 pain. Maybe you want to tinker around with the saddle positioning before buying another one?

if ur thinking to get santai compact bike,
pikes are the one. better get gen 2, or facelift gen 3. i already explain the different for gen1, gen2 or gen3. for me 3sixty are overpriced, but the build qc are better than pikes. there are some issue with new pikes got spoke broken (i got one too, thats why i change to high profile wheelse laugh.gif ). i didnt have chance to compare the 3sixty up closed, so i didnt know the different much. from what i can see from the net, 3sixty is 90% copy.

later i will update. got 1 friend in ipoh using the 3sixty
