QUOTE(marauderz @ May 9 2007, 08:16 PM) OK... confirmed, content previosuly streamed via ORB and TVersity ain't working no more, I wonder if it's a codec issue or some sort of protocol changes, in any case.. NOT GOOD at all! Yesterday tried streaming from Nero Media Home and it worked, though problems with audio sync. After this update, it doesnt work anymore. In any case.. the 360 now plays MP4 container, MPEG4 Video Stream AAC audio stream files |

ok.. would like to share that modded console is fine with this update.
was holding to my left..*cough* ..err KEKACANG when downloading just now.. no problemo at all.. (at least for me) the marketplace blades is nice.. but there're too many redundant views.. can see/view the same menu from all over the place.. not only from marketplace blades. i guess they havent overhauled the whole menu button placements in this ver yet. the bad side is majority of the readily *cough* available divx/h.264 encoded files doesnt work. Seems you'd need to download the Optional Media Update for playback of AAC audio and MPEG4 video. Downloading as we speak, will update after i test with my copy of Bikini Destinations in 720p MP4 video later.
update: Yeah! Works perfectly, no need to encode to different formats for playback on PS3 and Xbox360 anymore since they both playbacks MP4 now. This post has been edited by redbull_y2k: May 10 2007, 12:35 AM |

Man...i luv this update....now my sharp G7 can accept 1080p resolution through analog connection on dvi-i input, heaven on earth when u can enjoy 1080p for both xbox 360's games and hd-dvd movies (which was limited to 1080i for hD-DVD before through component input).
The colour reproduction for HD-DVD is so natural, with no red push at all at default setting, if compared to the previous setting on component input,...now...what pissed me off is the review by engadget that claims that tehre is no justifiable different between hdmi input on elite and the component input on normal xbox 360 for either xbox 360 games and HD-DVD movies, its either that person is drunk or blind while doing the PQ testing....dudes...ive been enjoying the 1080i resolution for HD-DVD movies for several months, and the truth is..there is a justifiable difference between 1080i and 1080p fro HD-DVD, and i blame most of the fault is on the component input connection with too much red push, that requires a calibration for high backlight setting...reviewers nowadays is hard to be trusted...peace This post has been edited by silencer: May 10 2007, 03:11 AM |
