QUOTE(Ichighost @ Aug 25 2017, 10:45 AM)
we developed young players, what we usually failed to do is the transition from youth team to first team. We have one of the best academy in Europe, if not why the youngsters keep on signing with our academy despite our bad record with young players..
*
this. true we have good academy but from academy players to main team is almost impossible. i blame the change of managers. different managers different style. we cant force the manager to accept the academy players. it will jeopardize the team and his career.

Sometimes I wonder if Chelsea is a bad place for young player development.
Lukaku flop here, flourish elsewhere
Same with Cuadrado, De Bruyne, Salah, Schurrle, etc
*
U cant say they flop here, they are not even getting enough game time to prove themselves in CHELSEA. There are a few reason,

1) Constant changing of manager, in order for manager to have faith and bring in youth player to the team, he will need a long time to monitor them first. And being CHELSEA manager not getting result = sack therefore they are not going to gamble.
2) Because of above, we buy most of our 23 player, even our sub are establish player that youth have to get past before even challenging the first eleven spot.
3) Because of above, they did not wish to stay and fight for their places eg. LUKAKU, DE BRUYNE. Result have prove they make the right choice for leaving, is our lost but there is no way LUKAKU able to dislocate DROGBA at that time but if he is make the 2nd striker instead of 3rd, i think he might stay.

Cant blame the board too much even though we dont like, as the club have been very much successful running the current model. I think we are the most successful english club (base on trophy won) since RA takeover. And most of the youth we sold have prove they are not good enough to play for CHELSEA first eleven anyway.

Now we are talking buying OX, DRINKWATER, VARDY, VAN DIJK. I would be happy if we get OX since we dont really have good youth for RWB and he can play CM too. Maybe VARDY too, 30 years old, good age for backup player, proven BPL player. I dont think we need DRINKWATER or VAN DIJK, those slot we have good youth and should be allocate to them but unfortunately they have been loan out sweat.gif

highly doubt Vardy, Dwater and VD will come, they are first choice for their clubs, why want to play second fiddle at the Bridge?
Like Vardy, already touch 30, he will want to play as much as he can, not sit at bench tumpang glory only laugh.gif

Yup no no for Van Dijk. So expensive and we already have Azpi, Cahill, Luiz, Rudiger, Christensen, Tomori, Clarke-Salter.
Drinkwater is good tho.

ox, drinkwater and vardy ok dah.
hope we already stop chasing sandro. 60m when we got alonso and Juventus wont be selling to Conte. Vardy would be great for our counter atking tactics when needed.

Yea we need to wrap up our deals asap before late entrants come into the fray. That worries me more since we're pinching pennies these days.

Cmon Marina, wrap up Ox, Drinkwater and Vardy asap!

Transfer News: Barcelona open talks with Chelsea star Willian over shock move

I think Barcelona plan B target is Willian. First is Coutinho.

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Aug 24 2017, 09:13 AM)
why not if they pay us countinho money

We do not really need more money in. We need buy more players.

As what ThisWorldisWeird says, Vardy wants Champion League. Dont hope Leicester can get into CL again... Dwater maybe kena influence juga biggrin.gif

VVD, it is either Liverpool or us. But considering how Southampton lodged complaint with FA on Liverpool approach, maybe we got higher chance. Finger crossed rolleyes.gif

but that VVD price for 60-70m...
rather we reinforce elsewhere, WB, CM or Striker.

yea but i dont think he is.. 60-70m will also put him as the most expensive defender in the PL imo.

I can't wait for the next game of my one of the most beloved teams. I prefer to bet on match here https://vulkanbet.com/en/sports/sport/1179 As for me, this is a great way to combine business with pleasure. On this resource, the most standards for rates, at another doesn't. I have no doubt that they will win because I always bet on them.
