Still dunno where he gonna be unless we play 4231 Except striker..the rest of the area are well covered. Not the worst transfer window. Signed six & get rid of some those loan army. Remember..drinkwater might not be the most decorative player but we still need him to cover games. Kante + drinkwater combo This post has been edited by syazwan: Sep 1 2017, 09:27 AM |

QUOTE(syazwan @ Sep 1 2017, 09:23 AM) Tutup dah la Yup, if we can get llorente, i think it very good striker window. Happy with squad we have, kenedy good back up for alonso, zapacosta can give fierce competition for moses, hazard is back, bakayoko getting fitter. We ready to goExcept striker..the rest of the area are well covered. Not the worst transfer window. Signed six & get rid of some those loan army. Ahh thx for the clarifcation. I always confuse with this. 343 is ok but if we gonna go for 352, i vote pedro as 3rd striker and hazard behind them. Cant wait for next game and hopefully no injuries happen

Get in,minum air!in the end conte will make do with kennedy as our backup leftback and although it's not ideal I'm happy he's highly likely to get a good chance to impress this season. Same goes to musonda,he'll be happy we didn't go all in for mahrez. A good transfer window, despite all the apparent 'snubs.' It's an A from me.

THE STRANGE CASE OF RIYAD MAHREZ
Riyad Mahrez on collision course with Leicester City after trying to force deadline-day move QUOTE Riyad Mahrez is on a collision course with Leicester after taking the remarkable step of leaving the Algeria national squad to force a move on deadline day. Mahrez is staying at Leicester until January at the earliest despite flying to London in a bid to leave the former Premier League champions, in a move which bemused Leicester officials. Leicester were stunned yesterday morning to discover the Algerian FA had tweeted that Mahrez was given permission to leave the training camp to finalise a move to another club. The tweet was later deleted and reports of Mahrez being spotted across Europe then surfaced for most of the day, sparking memories of Peter Odemwingie’s infamous crusade in January 2013 when he drove to QPR even though a deal was not agreed. Chelsea, Spurs and Barcelona were linked with Mahrez this summer but Leicester stuck to their valuation of around £50 million. Roma were the only club to make offers for the former PFA Player of the Year yet their bids came nowhere near Leicester’s asking price. Mahrez will now have to explain his actions to Leicester when he returns from international duty, with his bizarre behaviour proving ultimately futile. Leicester did sanction the £35m sale of Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea, but moved swiftly for long-term target Adrien Silva. The Portugal international flew into England for talks on Thursday evening and sealed a £22 m move, 12 months after almost joining with former Sporting Lisbon team-mate Islam Slimani. Leicester also captured Aleksandar Dragovic from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan and offloaded £13m midfielder Nampalys Mendy to Nice on loan. Mendy was one of the signings made during Leicester’s much maligned summer recruitment drive last season and headed out after barely a year. So it's Arsenal or Chelsea that he wanted to negotiate? Both? |

Exclusive: Ross Barkley turns down chance to join Chelsea after Everton refuse to negotiate with Tottenham
QUOTE Ross Barkley dramatically turned down the chance to join Chelsea after Everton refused to enter into negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur on a busy transfer deadline day for the Premier League champions. As Chelsea agreed a fee worth around £35 million with Leicester City for midfielder Danny Drinkwater and confirmed the £23m signing of right-back Davide Zappacosta from Torino, Barkley refused to be pushed into a move to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea agreed a fee of £35 million for Barkley, as Everton had refused to deal with Tottenham on the final day of the transfer window. But Barkley was uncomfortable with having his future dictated by the Toffees and informed Chelsea that he wants to wait until January to make a decision on his next move. Chelsea will try for Barkley again in the New Year and it remains to be seen whether or not Everton will change their stance and listen to a bid from Tottenham in the next transfer window. Barkley has already entered the final 12 months of his contract and is unlikely to play again before January after undergoing surgery on his injured hamstring. That means his value will drop dramatically in January, when he will be only six months from being able to leave Everton for nothing. Everton claimed that Barkley even underwent a Chelsea medical before changing his mind, but sources close to the player insist that is not the case and the 23 year-old never got as far as having a medical. Just minutes after news of Barkley turning down Chelsea broke, Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri said: “The two clubs agreed a deal of £35m, I think personal terms were agreed and after the medical we heard from Paul Martin, his agent, that he (Barkley) changed his mind. “He wants to reconsider his position during the January window. He is currently injured, so I think technically he will be with us because he is under contract for another year. It is a big surprise, but that is football.” Asked if Barkley still has a role to play at Everton once he is fit, Moshiri added: “That is the difficulty. The No 10 position is very congested as we have Sigurdsson, Klaasen and Rooney. It is not easy to break into that now, but he (Barkley) is a good player, he is a world-class player but he needs to play.” Chelsea made look like idiot in this case. They almost got a fickle player! |
