Might just be people playing pranks. You never know, those people in the business of selling whatever you need to burn for ghost festival or whatever, might be motivated to play these kind of pranks to keep people believing that these kind of things exist? Deswai Grab should copy Uber and let drivers rate passengers. How can hantu rider have 5 stars? biggrin.gif

Every one here worried about cancelation when there's actually a solution. Why should our CR be affected when there's a valid reason to cancel?

Every time give feedback to Grab, they just reply with standard answer. What is the point? Are there actual people reading our emails or it's just fake names that the system attaches to replies? If there are real people reading our feedback, what is the point of Grab paying them a salary if they just issue standard replies?

Today kena sabotaged by possibly other asshole drivers. Give special message to call a different number, called that number 3 times can't reach. No sign of rider at all. Called the person who made the booking, he just said ok ok without saying when the passenger will arrive and off the phone. Wait almost 15 minutes, no sign of rider at all. I go home, call CS, CS said will help me cancel but will affect my CR. Fuck. Told him that's not fair at all. But of course, we all know, Grab doesn't care.

Asked the passenger on chat to pls cancel, he give me damn nice sweet words. "no cannot. they are still there waiting u." More than 40 minutes already, just make a new booking la! "they wait for u since. business is all about patience. no need to be angry with your customers." You just cancel, I won't be angry with you!

RM15 fare to Pudu police station, want me to wait 30 minutes? No show whole day also maybe? I told Grab CS, don't cancel the booking, just make remark. Until now the a-hole still don't want to cancel.

You guys wait la next week, sure a lot of fake bookings.

F U, "ride sharing" app, I go home.

Maybe it's Grab's turn to shoot themselves in the foot.

There's definitely a motivation for drivers to create fake booking s so that all the real short trips go them. Grab themselves might be creating fake bookings so we don't reach target.

Well.. Let's see next week.

I clicked pick up and drop off and just buta pay commission to Grab. Apparently this will get me banned. Buta pay commission also they not happy ka? Well.. Bring it on.. Let's see how many honest drivers like me they are willing to lose. In the end it will be bad for them with less drivers and the drivers they are left with only game the system. Their teams and conditions said cannot game the system but obviously they cannot catch the people who fame the system, which is why they are changing the incentive structure.

I think customer prefer you mount on middle area. Then they can check you follow Waze properly or not, sometimes they know better route. And I think not all riders know that grab is flat rate so maybe they want to check the fare too.

When you download the app, you give them permission to check your phone for what apps you've installed. You install Grindr app also they know.

I use app report that I never received any earnings statements. They told me to email to relevant department. Cannot be a 5 star support staff and forward my message to the relevant department meh?

So I email the relevant department. I said, I drive for more than 2 weeks already, didn't receive any statements. They send to me 1 statement.

I ask where's the other statement? They said they checking technical department why I didn't receive statements? Oh.. Then can email my statement first ka while technical dept check what's wrong? They said cannot, need to resolve the technical issue first.. Wth, Grab don't keep backups of drivers' statements ka?

Ask them take how long to fix the issue? No reply.

To be fair, 4/5 stars shouldn't be considered a bad rating at all.

If you go to a 3 star hotel, do you expect 5 star service and facilities? You'd be happy to just receive 3 star comfort, right? As long as you get what you paid for and the price is reasonable for a 3 star hotel. Anything extra that they provide for free is a bonus. If you go to a 1 Michelin star restaurant, would you say the food is bad simply because the restaurant doesn't have 3 Michelin stars? (Maximum is 3 Michelin stars)

Maybe some riders view Grab Premium or whatever as a 5 star service and Grab Economy is just a 4 star service.

And again to be fair, riders don't know how ratings affect us. Grab doesn't educate riders at all. Grab just lets riders think that even if they pin the wrong location, we can magically appear at their feet.

That's what I'm trying to say actually. Grab (and Uber) expecting drivers to maintain a rating of 4.7 is insane. I think Uber if rating lower than 4.6 will kena suspended?

A rating of 4.2 for example, would be much more reasonable. It means you still give reasonable service but sometimes go beyond that and some customers give you 5 stars. Like my hotel analogy. Or if like my Michelin star analogy, if a restaurant gets more stars, they have the right to charge HIGHER.

Yesterday I kena 1 guy put 2 drop-off points. He want to go to 2 banks. Have to wait for him then jam. 2nd drop-off at citibank in KL. 1 hour for just RM16. Then he want me wait for him there because he want to go somewhere else. He want to try book again and ping me. Haiz.. I was afraid if I don't wait for him, he will give me low rating. All UP blocks burned yesterday. But now I think about it, I'm 4.9, kena a few low ratings shouldn't hurt too much. Oh well, lesson learned.. I'm still a newbie after all.

Best part is during P block I kena 3 trips, total fare ngam ngam RM28. So yesterday makan telur for incentives. Fuck me.

Yesterday my AR reset back to 0, but today still 100% even though I haven't start driving. Wth, Crapcar.. Always expect 110% from drivers but sendiri macam 50% only...

Grab app damn stupid, if new job come in then will take you to the Grab app while you are using Waze to navigate. Then sibuk wanna give notification to driver that rider using promo code. Have to tap few times to get back to Waze. Bodoh.. When driver click pickup only notify them rider use promo code ma.. And just click once to accept job and stay in waze la. And the Grab button when in waze always disappear after you switch apps. Then even more clicks to get back to Grab app from Waze.

Grab staff got read this tered or not? I know Lazada got read lowyat wan. Glitch always fix fast. Grab like idgaf.
