Guys, anyone of you ever got stopped by police roadblock while fetching foreign riders?? Just kena this evening...near Kelana Jaya LRT. Two indo rider, one boy one girl. Police ask for all our ID...then ask the indo rider why passport got no chop updated...then ask them to pay the fare and get out of the car!
I ask the police how, should I come back fetch them...he just said no need and sent me away...called Grab..explained what happend, CS checked with supervisor and said that as long as fare was paid the trip can be completed and press dropoff... Felt bad for the riders tho...still halfway from their destination. Actually I saw on Waze already the police roadblock notification while waiting to turn but I was blur and by the time I realized it already Police saw us... Today got TWO matched GS trips...1st one in morning, no issue, completed in half hour. Both riders regular commuters no problem.
Evening 2nd one...2 Arab students(~20 yrs old) as 1st pax, a bit slow coming down from condo but otherwise OK. OTW to matched rider , called him saying reaching already: "Ok boss". Reached there..see 4 banglas...I thought one of them only would come in since he put ONE pax. Then he approached window and ask why inside got other passengers, how his friends going to fit inside? Tell him about GS, terus xcel as more then 2 pax showed up for the reason. First passengers also frus...."SMH, wasting time la"....luckily otw to the destination not far not jammed and we managed to chat abit, so should be OK.
