so that's explained why customers paid only rm3 for the previous rm4 trip. I always camping at this particular hot spot so normally you can manually guess what's the fare looks like by looking at the destination. last week most of em either rm3 or rm4 per trip ( used to be higher than that ) summore using promo code so basically they get free rides.

I suspect grab lowering base fare discreetly because of uber cuba campaign.

Also noticed very hard high fare even in city centre during bhsy times eg 6pm.

Same person within that week would count as just 1 for incentive. Believe the first one only. 2nd trip later that week would makan ur incentive allotment but wont get actual incentive for it.

Eg. 2nd trip for the same passenger rm5 in a hp block, actual trips completed is 3 (say rm5 trips each for that hour) but ur incentive count as 2 trips, but rm15 is still considered as total fare.

Which would mean, rm30- less rm15 and not rm40 less rm15 or rm30 less rm10.

In short, same passenger during the week is sien for incentive players

Same. I ngam gam hit 50 tripz wed to 11:59pm Saturday excluding 7am- 9am trips.

10% comm cashback better than nothing.

Started only at 2pm today. else cudve tried to get 62 trips instead.

Refer to the email sent to u. It shows which programme and incentive type u have been assigned.

If not already GA then need to re-opt in.

But honestly like the other forumer said, now stress daily..

Have to be on our toes daily.

Moreso if for a parttimer. Coz have to do 7jobs min daily if ever avoid a job, eg ignore an airport trip..

Else u lose he incentive for the day.

Also. Worryingly, dr also daily.. wtf.. 1 4star for that day screws u for that day..


On the flip side, a criminal can be let loose coz he can badly rated for a day and do their stuff and then get dr resets to 5 again next day.

Seriously a safety concern. Hope they relook into dr resets.

Hope any grab alpha members to ask grab to relook into daily dr resets.

This really put safety/security at risk.

Should remain at latest 100 trips aggregated ratings.

Cr issue can only be fixed by switching off available button after pickup.

Even then, me kena 3x times b2b right after pick up existing passenger, this was yesterday ard pv area.

Damn sien for next passenger coz have to wait existing trip to be completed from start to finish.

Make believe that drivers can make a living by driving for them.

Seriously need to reconsider options now as a parttimer.

I actually rent to do grab, but reasonably better rate that what is quoted out there. Im paying 900 a mth in total, rm225 weekly.

Even then, barely making it sometimes.

Those being quoted 350 to 450 per week car rental shouldn't bother if driving parttime.

Unless in dire situations u have to cook up a story to cs.

Ie. Press pick up then call cs to canx.

No the best way to do it, but as i said, in critical situations la coz the system really screw u big time..

u can ask full timer opinion about this, sometimes u can have bad day and bad customer which is not under your control.

Another thing for grab to consider fairer approach is to exclude no show cancellations.

Daily update of DR would be senseless....again a lot of fine print and details are still unknown...usual for Grab. Yup. Thay t&c is the same as before. Though grab can start enforcing it which wud mean either higher pax canx or lesser incentive since u off available button during passenger transit. Either way, higher chance of grab paying lesser/no incentives out.

KV is their bread and butter aka most drivers are from.

If they implement in jb or pg, may be not as much bottom line difference for them, so they aim the biggest cake.

Bro. What's ur view if parttimer on HG next week.

1) Monday to Thursday, drive like flexi, dont matter bonus or not, just maintain ar at eod 30%, ie. forego incentive for these 4 days and avoid driving mornings coz cant help but canx jobs if late for work etc. Do only at night for 2-3hrs. 7pm onwards. If wan drive morning still can but night time switch to flexi if morning ignore too many d. Haha

2) Fri to Sunday, drive like HG as usual, but be prepared to not canx or ignore jobs. coz 3 days can easily get rm240 at a minimum of incentives.
