I quit btc already but i can share my experience of transferring my btc fr luno to coinhako and get my money back into my maybank..uncertainties here and there made me felt saving my original capital is important than making profit from btc..also luno made me scare of any platforms dealing with btc and etch

is the selling price in coinhako good?

Hi,

Can someone please shed light on Luno Malaysia's reputation among Malaysian bitcoin traders? I'd like to hear out your reviews, thoughts, and experience dealing with Luno Malaysia before using it to trade large amount of money.

Thanks

Hi Luno seems having trouble to do withdrawal to local Banks.
My cash is stuck in thier wallet from 15th Dec 2017 till now.
They keep saying working with the Banks. Be caution and ask them first before deposit any cash

not to spread terror, but this isnt the first time i see an exchange platform freeze by bank. i started trading quite long ago with coinbox, same issue happens. discussion never ending, i guess its still not solved until today (roughly 1 year ago).

as long as luno did not collect your personal data such as a copy of IC, proof of address AKA 'know your customer', bank negara isnt going to budge a single step. that is why luno is banned but coinhako isnt (at least for now), simply because coinhako collect all its users data. i believe half or over half of luno users do not submit their IC and proof of address. if you are familiar with openning offshore accounts, you will know what i mean.

Luno does collect all our personal details before opening an account but lately very suspicious on why they have problem to do withdrawal. They should just use credit cards payment as that way does not need too much hassle with the Bank. Paying to credit cards is a lot easier than paying to Bank account

Luno does collect all the personal information including utilities bill proof when I created an account to trade more than RM5K.

Have you all made any recent transactions with Coinhako? As I see that it's quite dead in social networks, that's why.

I always use Remitano but I do find their fees a bit high.

yes. deposit and buy eth and transfer to binance. no problem

Luno has been locked down by Malaysia BNM. Although btc / eth trading remain as usual, withdrawing or depositing RM is restricted. You can try to transfer your crypto to Bittrex or Binance for further trading, and withdraw cash form localbitcoins later on.

Join this group too if you are interested in trading alts, it provides good quality buy calls

Yes you can, I just took out RM500 from my Xapo account. They charge me RM10 for the Teller fees.

I used Luno before this but the rates were ridiculous so I changed to Xapo. The setting up takes sometime but after that its all good.

Bro can give me Xapo teller contact

This problem is not from Luno, it BNM who are freezing Luno account from us to deposit and withdraw .
Luno is the victim here so please read up and understand the whole situation.if it weren't for BMW, we all would be happily trading in Luno.

If we read through luno history they had many problems before..it seems they are not efficient..like now they also have problems with maybank..after customers pressure them they only willing to reverse customers' sale transaction. If not what happen ? Your money will stuck in luno and you will cry because no phone number to reach them.

Be careful guys..it is your hard earned money.luno is African one.you know them right

Everyone keep blaming BNM and Maybank for the issues with Luno, but why no statement from BNM (if somethg illegal or suspicious) or maybe someone try email Maybank and ask for it?

oh, get bitcoin/ETH, and go to your Binance account -> Fund -> Find the COIN (BTC/ETH or etc) click deposit -> get the address (must be accurate) and paste it to whichever exchange you got your BTC/ETH/COINS from send them over to Binance. Each coin has different addresses. Becareful ya!
