Why not you request to close the Maybank account and then open another account in other bank?

Hmmm... the "dormant" status in SSM caught is surprising. There was no documentation from SSM telling us of this. Perhaps during the IRB investigation, this was switched to "Dormant." Other than that, perhaps it hasn't been updated since the IRB said it's okay to unfreeze our account. But I'm just speculating here.

Our company secretary will check on this asap. Will update as soon as possible next week.

interestingly, aaron has no idea what he is talking about. one cannot be dormant while being investigated, from what you post... it seems like luno has been running their business way back in 2016 but reported to ssm and lhdn as dormant company... hence lhdn knock their doors for audit, dormant company with RM700k in their accounts with RM750k + liability... what the heck they are doing? do let us know the updates i think i have RM20 inside luno ?

We are currently working through the details on how exactly this will be done, since it involves a large number of withdrawals and amounts. I know what you mean now. But Luno is not just Malaysia, they are multinational company, I dont think they will just release news to please ppl. I pretty sure they are almost reach agreement with Maybank. Malaysia is only one their branch.
