QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 20 2017, 05:08 PM) Pay with AmEx on weekends, you can get 5% cash back. other maybank credit card can entitle for 5% cash back paid on weekend? or only AmEx?Yes, I'm using Digi Infinite 150 in my PJ house. In term of stability and consistency, UniFi wins hands down. Of course, in term of portability, Digi Infinite will win. I appreciate portability more, so there is give and take. I can still get 80Mbps consistently with my Digi though. thanks ... |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 19 2017, 12:15 AM) Good to know it retains my free calls. you have no concern for the price after 2years back to rrp for 100MB?If my sister doesn't agree, I will still upgrade for her and she just pay me usual RM 189.75 with GST and I top up RM 10 myself every month. I get to enjoy too since I go back every two weeks. Most likely she will agree because she has no reason to say no though she's a calculative person. you known after 2years the price will be cheaper and high speed ? i thinking to topup 10 too but concern the rrp after 2years .. |

QUOTE(westlife @ Nov 25 2017, 01:44 PM) just done my upgrade. via 100. intially wanted to go to TM point to do tmr, but saw that most had successfully done via 100. decided to do it via 100 for convenience since TM point is always full of ppl with long queue at my side here. The price will remain the same even after 2 years. confirmed ?told the CSO that i received the SMS on the RM10 upgrade promo. (I did not receive anything). Upon checking with my account number provided, CSO confirmed that I am eligible for the upgrade. Swee. CSO put on hold for a while for gathering my info, after that proceeded to the upgrade process. CSO spelled out those T&C etc and i just needed to acknowledge. package (before upgrade) RM179 (Thank you suprise 50Mbps) HyppTV Ruby Pack No Voice Plan package (after upgrade) RM189 HyppTV Ruby Pack HyppTV Jumbo Free Voice Plan & Free 600 Minutes Price is RM189 before GST (after RM200 discount). Contract renewed for 2 years. The price will remain the same even after 2 years. Cannot swap package to other package (for example, if now Ruby, cannot switch to others) equipment wise the RG will get 1 year warranty due to this contract renewal. RG4 is the RG needed for 100Mbps, if one's existing one is not RG4, they will need to switch equipment. their system will detect if one's existing RG is RG4 or not, if not, within one week time, they will come to swap the device. if already on RG4, just need to restart the RG after received the confirmation email of upgrade from TM to get the new speed. nice. RM10, I got so much extra especially the free calls which I do not have before. a lot say will back to rrp after 2years for 100MB .. thanks ... |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 6 2017, 01:35 AM) Finally my friend and I had TeamViewer session with my sis back at home for few hours, fixing router settings.. Didn't expect small little thing like "Tx power adjustment" makes so much of difference. "Tx power adjustment" adjust to 50% meaning ?We had no issue with 100% on 50Mbps, got full speed all the time. Now gotta adjust to 50% only to maximize the speed of 100Mbps. 2.4GHz and 5GHz are OK now. WIFI distance drop half or speed drop half ? 2.4GHz and 5GHz are OK now. speedtest show can get 100Mbps constantly? download file speed up to how many ? thanks ... |

QUOTE(vez @ Dec 20 2017, 09:14 PM) Pls see attached file ...cant see test button ...QUOTE(crixalisrox @ Dec 20 2017, 09:28 PM) Want to check with 100mbps user here, may I know which BTU your using and can the speed hit 100mbps? my 5G WIFI can get about 7x~9x only ..never over 100 😳😳Im using the Huawei hg8240w & router tp-link archer c5, on LAN max speed only 95mbps (cat5e cable) but 5G Wifi can hit over 100mbps Im not sure the BTU is FE or GE port, the technician told me this is latest model and no changes needed. I myself also confused because if FE port then wifi wont hit 100mbps right? If anyone here can confirm the BTU is only FE port, then I want to request for equipment change. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Dec 21 2017, 10:38 PM) You can't get full speed on 2.4GHz as there is interference or congestion on the wireless network at your place. You should enable 5GHz or at least get an AP or powerline, just for 5Ghz, if you want full speed. See here for further explanation: aiya...felt waste upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps. if cant get full 100Mbps on 2.4GHz..https://www.howtogeek.com/222249/whats-the-...should-you-use/ add on AP or power line will consume more power .. i think AC68u can handle nicely but .... |
