I believe in 2 years time, the price for 100Mbps might be lower than the current offer since TM are going to launch a higher speed package soon

Just live chat with them..they said cannot be done thru live chat. Need to go to TM Point & show them the sms in order to have the RM10 upgrade..haihhh

Then, it means that they charged RM20 for upgrading to HyppTV Jumbo Pack..which is still cheaper (instead of RM30).

RM179 + RM10 (to get upgraded to 100Mbps) + RM20 (upgrade to HyppTV Jumbo Pack) = RM209 (RM221.54 with GST)..am i right?

I thought u get all the above at RM189 (200.34 with GST) which of course a better deal...

Why no standardization in pricing for his Bonanza Plus upgrade? One can upgrade to this package with the price of RM209 (without GST), but another person can get the same upgrade at RM189 (without GST)

Seems like there are two different versions of SMS that TM broadcast lately.


I got this SMS.

But, got another SMS as below which has better offer


From my understanding, those who received the first SMS, can upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps for just RM10 (total RM189 excluding GST with no HyppTV Jumbo pack)..but only for 24 months. On 25th month onwards, need to pay whatever current pricing for the 100Mbps at that moment.

While to those luckier who received the 2nd SMS can upgrade from 50Mbps to 100Mbps + HyppTV Jumbo Pack for just RM10 (for the same total of RM189 excluding GST permanently).


Since that i'm already subscribed for HyppTV Jumbo pack (pay higher which is RM209 excluding GST for 50Mbps), TM offer me the first SMS instead (because TM dont wanna lose RM20 monthly & instead asked me for another RM10 to get the same 100Mbps + HyppTV Jumbo pack with people who got the 2nd SMS). Why TM discriminate people like me who support their Unifi & HyppTV products? This is an unfair pricing. Same package but different in pricing.

Did anyone which already subscribed to HyppTV Jumbo pack got the 2nd SMS?

Yeahh...

For us whose on 50Mbps + Jumbo pack, we have to pay RM209 (excluding GST). That's why TM did not offer us the RM10 upgrade (total RM189 excluding GST) because they dont want to loss the extra RM20 that we already paid now Thinking to lodge a complaint to MCMC for their unfair treatment..will collect some proves first

I'm paying RM209 for 50Mbps + HyppTV Jumbo Pack. Will need some proves (i.e. Unifi bill) from you to submit a complaint to MCMC for TM's unfair treatment

I hope somebody here kind enough to help us to fight against the unfair pricing by TM. But now is still too early. Need to wait for next billing cycle in order have this RM10 upgrade reflected in the bill

After reading your case..i think i need to try my luck again after two unsuccessful attempt weeks ago by calling 100

How to lodge a report at TM Point? I've been there to complaint about their unfair pricing (paying higher for less), but no report has been opened. It is just an open talk at the counter. On 2nd approach to TM Point, i did meet & talk with their Unifi personnel, but again no report opened

I do not subscribe to STD20 & still pay RM209 for 50Mbps + Jumbo Pack. Went to TM Point Alor Setar 2 times already to change to RM189 package (100Mbps + Jumbo Pack), but unsuccessful. Now complaining to TM by email. If TM still unable to treat me fairly in term of package pricing, i will escalate my complaint to MCMC too...

Routerboard..very stable & reliable Excellent router i have to say. I used RB951G-2HnD instead.
