QUOTE(doremon @ Sep 26 2017, 11:37 AM) Im not sure about this. Heard once you opt foc upgrade, 50% off not entitle (To choose either 1) Need to wait this oct 2017 (Budget news) I opted for FOC free upgrade to 50Mbps. I dont mind to be reverted back to 30Mbps to get the 50% off in subscription fee..because 50Mbps already overkill for me...

QUOTE(Senpai onegai @ Nov 12 2017, 02:01 PM) Thanks! Last question, does the power line have to be connected through wall socket or can I use it on a power extension? It will be Router > Wall socket power line then the other one would be downstairs on a power extension to my pc. Does it have to be wall power socket on both? Hopefully it's not confusing Recommended both plugged on wall power socket..else you might loss some uplink/downlink speed. If you have only one available wall power socket, then have to buy a powerline kit with power passthrough socket on both side like THISThis post has been edited by izputra: Nov 12 2017, 03:01 PM

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Nov 12 2017, 03:35 PM) You could get the WPA4530KIT. It’s cheaper, and nearly the same as the PA8010KIT, plus it comes with wireless function. See here: http://www.lazada.com.my/tp-link-ac-dual-b...t-18933988.htmlNo. TP-Link is better. I have 5 of their powerline and they are all rock solid. I got the WPA4530 KIT also..works flawlessly

QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Nov 16 2017, 01:40 PM) 30Mbps RM199 --> 50Mbps RM179 (Thank you surprise) ---> 100Mbps RM189 (Bonanza package) this consider OK? thanks ... Those who got the Thank You Surprise can add RM10 to get the extra kick from 50 to 100Mbps..easy decision i believe, but..there is a but.....

QUOTE(math @ Nov 16 2017, 01:48 PM) I don't think this offer applicable to previous promotion(Non standard such as thank you surprise upgraded or Bonanza package). Anyway, you might confirm with TM Point. But my personal opinion it is for official standard pkg only. I just asked TM personel at their TM Point counter, this offer is applicable to new & current subscribers regardless of their package promotion

This so called RM10 upgrade is valid for 24 month only. After that, normal price will be applied. For us who upgrade from the Thank You Surprise package (let say 30Mbps to 50Mbps) will not be able to revert back to the same package anymore (no more RM179 for 50Mbps). So i decided to stay with my current 50Mbps TYS package

QUOTE(arrsoo @ Nov 17 2017, 12:33 AM) no one is able to give a definite answer, will hv to see what happens when the time come lor, else terminate and apply new which should be lower and better. wont die la When i asked the TM Point personel at the counter yesterday, she said that after 24 months..the price will change from RM179+RM10 (100Mbps) to whatever price at that moment (for that same speed 100Mbps). I just hope that in 2 years time, TM will offer a better package say RM179 for 100Mbps or RM229 for 200Mbps so that i would not regret to take this RM10 upgrade 2 years later . But that's just a hope for now..no one knows what will they offer in 2 years time. Anyway, this RM10 upgrade is so tempting lor..feels like worth to gamble taking it & hope the best in 2 years time This post has been edited by izputra: Nov 17 2017, 09:21 AM

QUOTE(gahkin @ Nov 16 2017, 11:29 PM) wow , previous i was vip20 (rm229) -- > 50mbps (thank you surprise) no contact , price remain. , so can i enjoy this rm10 deal to upgrade too ? If RM189 can get 100Mbps now, for RM229..for TM, why not?

QUOTE(soonwai @ Nov 17 2017, 10:44 AM) Yeah, TM quite clear on that. 100mbps 299 + Existing Ruby 30 + Jumbo 60 = 389 less discount 200 = RM189 Haihh..how to get the free Jumbo pack. Now need to pay RM179 + RM30 for the Jumbo pack. So if i take this RM10 upgrade..will end up paying RM219 instead..adoii

QUOTE(soonwai @ Nov 17 2017, 11:01 AM) She said so verbally that it'll still be RM189 after 2yrs but nothing in the TnC that she read out to me that confirms nor denies that. Will have to wait after the upgrade to see if Perpetual is still there. This statement contradicts from the statement by the TM Point personel that i met yesterday. Dont know which on is true right now

QUOTE(arrsoo @ Nov 17 2017, 11:22 AM) oh ic. BTW, what router did you get? My archer C5 is able to give me full 100Mbps/50Mbps wifi speed at almost 75% of my double storey house area. But too bad the pc is my study room is in the 25% weak area where i can only get 85Mbps/35Mbps (wifi) and connection is very eratic. Thinking if i should also change for a better router or not Try use USB wifi adapter with antenna..in my case it helps

QUOTE(soonwai @ Nov 17 2017, 11:28 AM) What is your current bill breakdown? Mine is like this. UniFi Adv Plus 50 219 + Ruby 30 = 249 less discount 70 = RM179. I'm not sure about the discount thingy. But my 50Mbps (TYS) is RM179 including the Aneka Pack before i upgraded to Jumbo Pack for an extra RM30..ended up paying RM209 now
