Easiest mod would be change to UHP tyres (PS3,RE003 & others) and stage 1 ultra racing bars. Next would be Koni absorber and Eibach pro kit spring.
*
What about autofoam?

Just do the basic package (undercarriage) + A pillars, & change the tyres to UHPs

Anybody has pictures of the new persona with Iriz premium wheels/rims?

Anybody bought one recently with their cars fitted with those rims?

Anybody tried swapping the stock sized tyres from 185/55/R15 to 195/55/R15 before?

Does this void the warranty?

Guys, I cant seem to find any difference in body kit between premium and other spec. Is it all the same? thanks

Oh ya one more thing to ask, what is wifi enabled feature in persona? googled but can seem to find any information about it. thanks again
*
The premium spec model has an aerokit. Other variants does not have any bodykit. However, for premium spec you can add a bodykit (RM1.8k additional).

Just bought one for the wife recently. Apparently the YES4G wifi dongle is not available anymore.

It has been only 2 weeks, so far no complaints from the wife about any rattling noise coming from the dashboard area. She complained that the stock tyres (Silverstone Kruizer) are noisy & wet grip is not to her liking. So I swapped the tyres with Michelin PS3s (she's used to this tyres in her previous car).

My comment after using it a few times, I noticed that the front parking sensor was not very sensitive/ might be not working, when turned on. I will get that checked during the first service.

So far my wife is happy with her new car

Hi.. how much ur ps3 each? Affect fc significantly?
*
Hi Aktan. I paid rm220 per tyre for 195/55R15 size inclusive of alignment & balancing at Continental Glenmarie.

I chose a wider tyre since it will make the tyre looked flushed with the car side profile (the car looks nicer in these tyres than the stock tyre).

Since my wife's car has not run in yet, before I changed the tyre, the onboard computer showed 8.7l/100km, after changing to PS3 with wider tyre, it showed 8.9l/100km (100% city drive).

Have u reset it after changing the tyre? Actually the different of 0.2L/100km still ok la, more safety ba...

Auto CVT can do 8.9L/100km (100% city drive) consider not bad actually, my old Gen 2 1.6MT only 9.3L/100km base on the meter board.
*
Honestly I haven't read the manual yet. How do you reset the reading? wink.gif

That fc average show in meter is not accurate, end up could be 10L/100km , calculate manually  blink.gif. Driving persona in city is really terrible
*
I agree. I will update later what will be the previous FC when the time of refueling comes.

Km traveled/litres of fuel filled.

Please change the silverstone tyre to another tyre like good year , yokohama, the silverstone not bad at dry grip but wet grip u will suffer.

U can change to 195/50/15  smile.gif
*
You can also try 195/55R15. Slightly wider than original tyre.

If budget is not an issue, the best tyre would be Michelin Pilot Sport 3.

Old?

The top picture is the new HU. The bottom picture is the old HU.

My wife's car which I recently purchased was from an Oct 2017 production. It was already fitted with New HU, however with the old alloy rims.

I was informed by the SA that from Nov 2017 production onwards, single tone iriz premium alloy rims will be fitted on persona.

FYI, my wife's car variant is the Premium (SS). Silver colour wink.gif

Hey guys ive been asking around in Persona Fan Fb page and found out that both of the rim is the same. The color tone made it look different. Is it true?  rclxub.gif

[attachmentid=9340193][attachmentid=9340194]
*
Yes, it is true. You will not get dual tone rims like the iriz. It will be a single tone silver coloured rims.

Latest update on FC

Manual calculation, can only get 9.3km/liter for 100% city drive.

However, the car is still new & hasn't run in yet. Expected first 1000km service next week.

I'm the owner of the video, was cruising 110km/h like I always used too but this time it's rain basically the road is wet. After this I only dare 80/90 only, don't want to clinch my butt anymore annnnnd you shouldn't wish this case happened to you. Even with ESC it will not save you 100%,it lower the chances of you hitting anything but you still responsible on controlling the car. The ESC only does 30~40% of controlling, the rest is yours.
*
It is advisable not to drive above 80km/h at the corner/bend.

You are right. When you are in a similar situation where you feel like loosing control (or traction) of the car, don't panic. Don't slam the brakes as hard as you can. Don't let go of the steering wheel, be ready to react immediately as soon as your car gains traction again. Having ESC does help a lot in these situations.

I had experienced something similar during heavy rain. However the car I was driving does not have ESC & was running on Silverstone Synergy M5s. After that incident I'll never used Silverstone tyres ever again

Dear All,

Which one is better? GY Eagle NCT5 vs GY Triplemax?
Thinking of changing the tyres, but not sure which one of these models are better, in term of grip, comfort, etc.
*
Definitely the GY Assurance Triplemax is the better tyre in all aspects compared to Eagle NCT5.
Dry grip
Wet grip

Geng,

I am quoted for the following tyres on 185/55/15.
Which one is the best suits for Persona?

CC6 - MYR 161.50/pc
Toyo NE3 - MYR 178.00/pc
GY NCT5 - MYR 173.00/pc
*
It comes down between CC6 & Toyo NE3

Both has good dry & wet grip.

CC6 has better handling but less comfort than NE3.

NE3 has better comfort but lesser handling than CC6.

Ya, my mistake that's why I don't take corners like that ever again.
Agree with this, need to takes all environment as factor contribute to accident. Before this i actually drive saga blm, this actually were like what 1 week/2 week after getting the car, the handling really sedap that's why i thought can take corners like that, didn't the road were slippery like hell.
yeah, I notice using silverstone always skid alot, maybe the threaded become halus already. I'm thinking on rotating my  back tyre to front this way can save alot of money and expand the tyre thread expactancy to like what 3 years? after that can change new one.
*
Advisable to rotate every 10k km.

hmm.gif oh really, I nvr tried CC6, but toyo NE3 yes, overall is quite good handling. CC6 i heard alot ppl say comfort , wet and dry grip is so so.
*
All these feedback are really subjective. smile.gif

It was my mistake, it was the other way round

NE3 has better handling but less comfort than CC6. Vice versa

Nevertheless, I usually review the tyre performance ratings from tyrereview.co.uk before trying out any new tyres (for me, ofc). Although it might not be accurate, at least it helps to make a decision.
