QUOTE(Maxwell6635 @ Oct 29 2017, 07:51 PM) erm really bad luck, it hit by so concrete thing or very solid. U can fix any SC with Body Paint Workshop or u can fix outside, erm survey the price first. It can't run away from RM 600 include knocking and repaint whole bonnet How long will it take ya, bro? Any guess? |

QUOTE(Maxwell6635 @ Oct 30 2017, 09:12 PM) Perhaps later then. Tomorrow will be sending for replacement on the front bonnet, since the Proton SC says they can't ketuk cause the damage is too deep dy.All in, it's a total damage of MYR 1.1k for the hood + paint. |

QUOTE(Volfeed @ Oct 31 2017, 03:45 PM) Ours have the rattle at the meter cluster, apparent in hot weather. But then, my friend's new BMW 3s also have some rattle lol. Happened to me as well. But when I press or apply force on the inside of meter claster that merged with dashboard, the sound disappears. I suspect there's some loose cable, or some compartment not tight enough in there. |

Hi fellow Persona VVT users,
Can you guys suggest what's the best tyre to use for this car? The stock tyre provided by Proton (Silverstone) is really not that good; plus it's noisy. Please share any good tyres that you guys are using now. Thanks |

QUOTE(jasonchang25 @ Nov 15 2017, 10:42 AM) Can try Continental CC6, my Nissan car using this and feel quiet + inserted Nitrogen. I will change my Persona tyre to CC6 after used for a year 1st...now only drive 200km, not worth trade in little money. Thanks for the suggestion bro. Wondering how much is CC6 priced now per tyre. |

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Nov 15 2017, 10:37 PM) Like Maxwell suggested, GY triplemax is quite good, my ori was Silverstone, then I changed to Triplemax for about 180 per pcs, Noise reduced, much better grip in both dry and wet, going through puddle water really well too! So far I'm very satisfied with this Triplemax, I feel its quite underrated... Noted on that bro. MYR180/pcs is including GST or not? Haha. Anyway, does the noise reduction on Triplemax on par with CC6?Initially was planning to go for CC6, but CC6 was an entry level tire, grip may not be that good especially on wet surface.. so gave this Triplemax a try which is a mid-range tire (Silverstone was mid-range too) |

Dear All,
Which one is better? GY Eagle NCT5 vs GY Triplemax? Thinking of changing the tyres, but not sure which one of these models are better, in term of grip, comfort, etc. |

QUOTE(amscouzach57 @ Nov 21 2017, 09:44 PM) I did. Btw, it can fit with the stock rim? Thanks for the feedback bro! Pros: - looks nicer as the tyre side wall looks flush with the car's side profile - slightly improvement in handling due to wider profile tyre. - easier to find size for premium performance tyres Cons: - slightly increase of FC due to increased grip |

QUOTE(T.Alvin @ Dec 3 2017, 02:30 PM) After almost 1 year owning the persona. My dashboard rattling is getting worst, even the back of the seat got rattle.... Once the rattle noise is back, it really turn me off.. And I have to either step throttle or turn up the volume music.. The 60:40 folding seat is unable to lock back to the mechanism. , A little dissapointed with this kind of build quality. Do you guys experience the rattle issue ? How u guys fix it ? On the back, I use a tape around the metal lock part. While at the front, I use a dashboard rubber seal in between the windscreen & dashboard. Just one rattle left at the steering area part, where I'm not sure how to fix it yet. But the rectifications I did to the back seat & front/side dashboard area managed to minimize the noise to 95%. |
