The Silverstones are rubbish, can feel the rear slipping when driving on wet/patches in smart tunnel. I don't dare go past 60kph.

i agree, these tyres arent great... i have wheel spin from stop to go during wet, it was a gentle acceleration. they are noisy too dry.gif . i have heard others that changed their tyre their cars becomes quieter.

People keep saying persona cabin is quiet but i feel the opposite. I can hear the engine revving even on low speed. Is it only me or got other who experienced the same?
*
Engine sound from low Rev in persona is more apparent compare to similar Car range like bezza and myvi. It also happens to new saga. persona does have better sound insulation but not the noise from engine.

Why I haven't noticed this? Maybe it happens to certain batches, not all?
*
Sorry for the confusion, I don't mean by very loud engine Rev. During low Rev e.g start and go. Bezza has lower Rev noise than persona. Not that persona is very loud, but is more apparent. When get up to speed, persona feel quiter. (cursing speed)

If you floor your pedal bezza's engine noise will still be lower than persona. So I guess either persona 's sound insulation or engine noise is not that good. Comparing the 2 cars is not persona is unbearablely loud, just more apparent. My persona is first batch, probably already have improvement.

guys. im looking for a car to replace my old wira.
what do u guys suggest?
*
Wrong thread, but here is my view. Persona, iriz, bezza, and myvi is about the same price range. The offering from peroduo right now is much more appealing, with about 3 to 6k more than Proton.
Right now, aside from handling I think peroduo is a better choice.

6.7l/100km state main road. 60km without traffic light 30km with traffic light. Average 90km/h.
*
Using my car for about more than a year, city driving (slow traffic avg 40km/h) I can get 410 to 420km for 35 to 36 littre, or 11.5 km/L.
If highway same amount of fuel can reach 520 ish

i see.. looks like u all kinda not happy enough with new persona..
currently waifu using persona elegan.. really love how good the handling and stability of it.

Hmm, as a persona driver, I don't say I dislike it. When I bought it myvi wasn't out. Do note this new persona is smaller than old gen persona, some might even feel. Is a down grade.

And yes, the new persona is very good for people who likes driving or drive a lot. I won't compare the comfort to 100k is car, but is definitely best around this price range.

I recommend going peroduo, simply right now peroduo is pack more with features. If you just want a car that save gas and just for daily driving peroduo car is best. If you travel long distance persona is the way to go for you and your passengers

Does anyone feel the the persona default rim looks very hideous...? it does make the car has big body and small wheel. My tire is going to wear out in about 10k KM, im planning to change to maybe 16in rim with CC6 tire, any good shop recommendation around selangor, subang, puchong or usj area?
i have no idea on how to purchase a rim, i know look at the rim size and the looks, anything i should look out for ?

Recommend me some some subtle looking rim that is not "in your face". smile.gif

Guys try this, turn your steering to slight right. Turn on your right signal, quickly turn your steering to left. Keyword quickly. See the magic.

Hi guys, I have just changed my rim. 15x 6.5J. I do feel the car don't have smaller 'feet' meanwhile don't scream 'racing theme'.
Feel free to bash my bad taste. Attached Image

Sleek af, with the suspension lowered it looks even more sharp. This height is how it should come stock. BTW, how do you lower your ride? change suspension?

soon will get persona standard 1.6

anything checklist i need to check when getting the car?
*
if you can try the the executive, i miss out a lot for saving that few k.

about what to check, if your salesmen is good he will go through every single thing with you, if he is bad like mine
1. check full body, if there is any imperfection at all(dont take your car during rain), check whether the seam between metal parts, they should have even and small gap
2. go in to interior check all interior material, make sure no scratch at all
3. test all electronics, window, light, dials, LED everthing, have somone stand outside to verify the lights
4. check your reverse and front sensor, they are notorious for slow response
5.check windscreen clarity
6. MOST importantly, check chasis and engine S/N number match your ownership title
7. Drive a few rounds

All the best
