Do you guys face freeze issue?
Most of the time i face freeze issue when using calculator on locked phone, sometime is other apps.
*
Bro, just check how many apps still open in background. If you just recently update, it does take a few days to settle in, my phone did freeze one time when I upgraded to iOS 11.0, and prior to that I seldom close the app as no issues before that on Ios10. So I make it a habit to close all my background app and also backgroud app refresh. Since then till nw on 11.0.3 no freezes. Performance also about the same.

I’m not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but after using the 3.5mm to lightning adapter for my earphones, I’ve been experiencing disconnection which I think is coming from the adapter that’s probably damaged since it’s bent now and then.

I’m looking for suggestions if I should get Bluetooth earphones or just get a replacement for the adapter?

Thanks.
*
I don't rely on wired nowadays as many devices are having the bluetooth connectivity. So I would suggest bluetooth earphones, if budget permits.

Good deal for iPhone 7

https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4435459&hl=

Anyone deal with him before? US set by with malaysia warranty
Interested to get a set from him for my other half.
*
US import set with Malaysian warranty ? Thats a first I've heard. International warranty maybe.

Caution bro. Also need to check which gps is with the unit. Some iphone version not ngam with gps here, so issues with waze etc.

Indeed US sets can claim warranty from MY

First time I heard about the gps thing though
*
Many moons ago, I've read someone complained that waze app sometimes not reliable, finally realised that the phone version was a US set, and having a gps system not that compatible with the gps here in this region.

Can u recall what model of iPhone was that since you mentioned many moons ago

Those days like in the iPhone 5 days they have different lte bands as well for iPhones of different countries

Now all in one. Global phone d. Except for the cdma one of course
*
I can't really recall it. Anyways if the seller can let you test the unit, then it would be a good idea to do so with a current sim card.

I'm using the Xiaomi Bluetooth sports earphones.

Anyone else here using it or experience call quality issues with their Bluetooth devices?
*
Are you referring to signal clarity or sound quality or handfree for calls etc?

It should work fine if within 10m of unobstructed view between phone to bluetooth earphones.

guys,is anyone of you have the habit of restarting your phone once in a week?

i'm been start doing this since i change to iP7,as i read some sites saying that doing so will

refresh your phone and clear cache etc.

but the things is, is this necessary? and doing this for long term will it damage our phones?
*
Yes I do mine when it is convienient for me. Its a good habit as by doing so, will clear up all the cache and temp files accumulating in the phone. Booting up times also very much improves. For me roughly 3 times in a week I do this.

Just updated to 11.1... can feel its smoother. Battery wise need some time to test. 11.0.3 had some drain compared to ios10. 7+ here

Edit:
Force touch on the left side brings back the multitasking again smile.gif (they disabled it on 11.0)
*
Updated this morning, and charged to 100%. Really noticed the battery performance thumbup.gif 6hrs standby, 1hr usage (YTube) only drop 5% battery. All notifications running normal too. Getting all lock screen notifications. So far Sooo good. A big step up from 11.0.3

Just wanted to share.

Those apps or games that frequently hangs, just delete and doanload a fresh copy of app store and your good to go. I had 1 misbehaving game app. Couldnt run after 10.3. So I deleted it and download from app store a fresh copy. Its working fine now.

Since Iphone 7 is water resistant, if send for service / repair under Apple shop means they will make sure water resistant is still available after repair izit?
*
yup. you should get the same warranty after the service for balance of the original warranty.

Iphone 7 plus 32gb (~rm2800 via Telco) or iPhone 8 plus 64gb (~RM 3500 via Telco)? Any suggestion guys?
*
Whats ur current phone? if coming from ip7/7+, then no need to go for the ip8, I would save up for the next gen or the X.
