Happy to report that 4G performance and bluetooth streaming has improved significantly. Yesterday 4G (maxis) only 2 bars, its on 3 bars now with improved surfing. Also I was using my wireless bluetooth headphones, and then went to the toilet, to my surprised the streaming did not stop. Previously it would like stop/ buffer for 1/2 seconds then continue.

I was on a ip6+ when I upgraded to ip7. Reason being I require a compact iphone that I could operate with ease single handed as I travel alot and the bigger plus size is sometimes cumbersome. Also need to consider whether you want to sell it off in the future. The 7+ is more easier to sell IIRC ie higher resale value.

At minimum, should cover the lcd area. I myself using spigen glaz. RM110 and comes in a pair. Quality, covers the lcd and spot on cut outs.

just tested with my mac.. normal can use the internet through the phone.

I'm on a ip7 too. Been using the ip6+. Love the extra screen size but the smaller ip7 is more manageable and edc friendlier imho.

Found an issue with the battery settings with 11.0.1.

It sometimes show the counters sometimes it just shows '--'

Much improvement on the battery on ip7, iOS 11.0.1

Overnight drop was 1% last night.

It does need a few days to 'settle in' and normalise.

OIC so only after 4 months can't use. But this trader is sure lousy one. No responsibility at all on what he buys/sells. Atleast you should release the traders name/company for public knowledge. I would suggest you do a police report on this matter and take it up with mcmc/maxis. I am sure maxis can unblock this hp. All the best to you bro and hope all goes well soon.

After updating, sure some settings go haywire. Take some time to go through all settings. My phone stopps notifications on the lock screen, then only realised that the 'Do not disturb' was on.. thngs like that

If you just recently updated the firmware, give it a couple of days for the software to normalise, usually the phone is indexing the files etc. FYI some have also noticed that the touch assistive button also sucks power, so you can try to switch it off and see whether it makes a difference. As for mine, the power consumption is improving but I do feel that it can be better. Probably apple will put out another updated to address this issue.

On mine, as you swipe to the top, the levels will light up, the first bar on the bottom is thus grey .

Mine happened once when I just updated to 11.0.1, and it happened like a split second hand, then went blank with the apple logo showing with the swirling arrows, a split second later it was back to normal. I guess it went and rebooted itself. It did not replicate since.

Was it a clean install when you updated yours? 10 minit hang is a major issue and have you tried resetting your phone.?

I assume that all apps have been updated after 100.0.1? I remember most of the apps required to be updated as to conform to ios11.

If you have done so and yet the issue still persist, might I suggest to hard reset your phone and restore as a new phone. Of course do a full backup before you do this.

Then run it as a new phone but with ios11 on it. If the issue is resolve, it will mean that there is an app or several apps that is making the system freezing.

Another is to basically switch off all the notifications, background app refresh, location services, assitive touch. And check whether it is stable or not. I would try this first. If still fails, only do I hard reset to new phone. If, as a new phone also freeze, then an SC is suggested. There might be a hardware failure.

Any preference to the type? magnet, suction cup, etc etc?

Bro, I am currently using the iottie easy one touch 3. What I noticed is that the cups needs to be refreshed now and again. So 1 month or 2, I'll take it off and just wash the cups and the area where the cups will sit. The suction just like brand new. Just use normal soap and tap water will suffice. Already 1 year + so far no issue.

As for the magnet type, especially fixed to the aircond grill I won't recommend as it will introduce condensation at the back of the phone even if you are using a case.

I'd get those having fast charge qualcomm3 system. Those from Aukey etc. Depending on your requirements, they come in various capacities and sizes.Look at www.unipro.my

Oh dear , I bought a couple and so far ok. Very fast charging which I like. Other members also quoted Mi, friends of mine are using this brand also.
