Go for 1k, more engine running. If need to service by duration, they might as well service their car in their stock every month.

In your case, you might need to quickly fulfill 1k mileage within these 1 or 2 months. It's for the warranty.

Engine oil can choose between mineral or semi. Don't waste money on fully because you are going to service on 5k mileage.
*
Already apointment for first 1k service. So better ask for semi engine oil instead of full engine oil right?

Ask any car victims of road accident, they will elaborate further on negotiation, negligence, neglected and non admitant ..

Civilized society will take responsibility and pay / claim their NCD if they admitted that fault.. However, ...... Hmmm...

DVR camera recording is to fix those unforseen circumstances damage with super SOLID STATE EVIDENCE.

What if , continuing arguments, finger pointing blame game on the side road ???

Shark fin is known to have bad reception. Most luxury car with shark fin will have booster to amplify signal and the wiring usually more than one.

I don't recommend to convert to shark fin unless you do for the sole purpose of aesthetic.

The new vios 2018 comes with shark fin, I'm not sure how is the wiring. It may have single wiring (i don't really know). If that's the case, you have to live with it.

By the way, have you tried tune in on a confirmed high signal area? If still bad, you need sc to check.
*
Ya ya. my one month old vios come with shark fin.

I am in Johor Bahru, but get poor reception for Singapore 933FM , any idea to increase the signal?

Any other shark fin antenna?

Hi all, i just got my car for less than one month. For far the fc is abit low, my full tank rm75 was only able to archive 390+km in city drive. (Millage = 1500km). I always drive the car in eco light up and under 2k rpm. Somemore, i heard rattling sound from both front side of the car. Not sure where is the voice from?

Anyone got solution to improve the fc and rattling issues?
*
Haiz. same as mine. but urs even worser than mine.

so, for the FC , i also almost get the same for 13km/litre but I speeding depend on my mood.

The FC depends on how many load on your car and also ur traffic condition.

So I think is normal unless you get low FC even on highway.

2. for the rattling sound.

I also experience the same after get my car. Send to SC about this, but the rattling sound 'dissapear'
just on that day. lol. speechless.
Come back depend on the its own mood.
However, try to reduce the rattling sound from few ways below:
- find the source of rattling sound. mine one is come from the 'pocket box' of front passenger .
-try many ways to reduce it, self knock it , as the older way. but it works for my case. not recommended to do so of course.
and I tried to press the 'loosen' part hard
Ya, now the rattling sound reduce lot but it still come back when i do cornering and 'shaky' condition sometimes.
I suspect is some loosen parts inside the front 'pocket box'

However, the rattling sound just appear sometimes, but still bother me.

I am thinking is it possible to show the SC foreman , with myself driving.

Haiz. I think SC also wont help much in this, as the rattling sound only appear by its own mood.lol.
May go to 'soundproof' specialist in future to solve this.

Or any others experience the same before? may share yours here.

Yes, installed it on April. Cost damage about 300 (with installation and gst) .
Need to make booking and item arrived/installed 3 days later.

It is much easier and fast to lock / unlock, compared to steering lock (may cause stretchers dashboard if you want fast unlock ).
Different Dual keys (protection), but usually I locked 1st entry at night / at quiet rare parking area ..

Let me take the photo of the brake lock today.

Changed my car remote battery( 2 years ) from clock shop last week and battery damage cost 10 .
*
Do you open air-con flow to both legs and body?

If you do, is the Air con (for legs ) been blocked by the brake pedal lock or not?

Order and Got it from ACCS Shop .  My Model =  DFender

However I google around and found similar / other type :-

http://www.peco.com.my/dfender-lock.html

https://my.carousell.com/p/defender-car-dou...42810420/?hl=en

https://www.lazada.com.my/catalog/?q=dfende....69fe1ec2fmOALE

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/toyota-v...baLIXA&search=1

Thief may takes longer period to dismantle if they want to.    But Smart thief wouldn't take this RISK.

Hi bro. May I know which manaufactured years of your vios?

Mine one is geneo brand. Quite famous brand. But block my air con. Even the foreman say nothing can do from their side.

Sad.

Year 2017.

IMHO Block Air Con - just feel hot to TOE/leg in the afternoon, but air flow directed nearby and still got little air..

But from SAFETY / LOSSES point of view, still worth or delay thief to give up hope to steal yr car..
*
True also bro. Ok la, just bare with it. no choice. unless use back the old style steering lock. lol.

Went for my 1k service yesterday and today there's a rattling sound from the dashboard on the driver side.. tried holding the pillar cover and dashboard but sound still occur.. Any one has this issue?

Another thing, yesterday i was in a rush and was driving at a constant high speed and high RPM.. After reaching home, and leaving the car at idling.. can hear 'tak tak' sound from exhaust.. is this normal?
*
Mine one is rattling sound at passenger side especially when I turned steering to the left.

Sent for service and 'disappear ' around one week, but just only one week.

will send again for service this Saturday. I think that is the chasis issue.

Hard to eliminate the sound. second chance for SC, will send to third party specialist if the sound still existing.

Lol, 2 people ride motor la, hahaha. Save petrol some more.

Tyre pressure depends on the tyre and load. It is very subjective. To save petrol depends on tyre size. Small width save more petrol but less traction. The weight of the rims also play part.

If all are standard that came with the car, check the user manual for such recommendation.

Myself don't really care for such tedious details. Not much can be saved on petrol. You try to save today, tomorrow fuel price goes up. You try to save today, tomorrow you drive like crazy because you late for work..lol.
*
Lol. Should buy a motor then. haha.

Thanks ya bro.

ya, sometimes when you break slowly, it will appear also. First I thought was my umbrella, but its not. The sound also appear for like 0.5sec when I shift P to D, but not always. When my car was idle, it will appear sometime.
*
Mine is at the passenger drawer there, I have to open and close the drawer to eliminate the sound.

Still very good compare to mine. But normally Petrol LED light up, n full tank only 30L,
you still continue even Petrol LED light up?

What brand of petrol u r pumping?
How much PSI for your tyres?
Which kind of engine oil u r using?

my normal city drive, only get 12km/l, around 360km for 30 litres.
