Thanks for help. I did go kuchai lama shop. He tell me he has gX front, side, rear skirting. Then the spoiler cannot get exactly same as toyota sport edition yet. They also don't know when the manufacture will produce this. So he suggest me get the skirting without spoiler. Go back his shop when he can get it.

Then for led issue, he also don't have any sources same as current vios. Ask me go ask other accessories shop.

I do some survey and notice china vios model have alot of changes esepcially this : refer to the picture.

Possible our vios can change to this ?

Dont do that, dude. I didnt re-fuel when the tank is empty, especially when i was in highway. I made a full tank, start driving. refuel in johor to full tank again. Get the record. then continued to drive to SG until i back to KL, refuel to full tank again and add up both. U may think this is not 100% accurate but the difference could be very minute as i constantly get similar FC with such method.
The max i ever did was when the warning light came up, i drove for about another 40km to refuel. There was another 5-7l left in the fuel tank. I think you can estimate from there.

The new vios actually has a very good FC especially on highway. I can easily achieve 17-18l/km if i go to KLIA using NKVE.
The mileage is considered reasonable when i only drive in city, eg PJ, Puchong, Jln Kuching.. the lowest mileage i get is 11km/l. In average, it is about 12-13km/l.

guys, need your opinion / suggestion:
which service center do you guys recommend?
going for 5k service soon.

need the SC to check few things:
-HUD language reset issue
-during jam, pressing the brake can hear some sound
-kinda loud "fan" sound, with or without aircon
-rough engine sound when driving within 30-50kph or rpm around 1 - 1.5k

nanti the service centre reply "normal, is like this, nothing is wrong".
planning to go on a week day to have it check

I see. Mine refill-ed last Friday, then back home town, Sunday back KL, total traveled distance is 350++ KM, sharp sharp half tank.. lol..

Yes, highway drive with fuel meter pointing to the middle should give 350km.

yaya... highway easily can get this distance with this fuel. as long as ngam ngam 110-120km/h.

Just installed UR Bar 1st stage on my Vios at UR HQ. Cost me around RM 819.

The feeling was great especially when cornering. recommend for installing.

1st stage have what bar ? How much if buy seperately? I also saw lot of review saying it will feel different when install it.

Do your green eco light will off or blink off occasionally?

Today i drove from KL to Penang. The first 40km of my full tank went to city drive yesterday.
I managed to clock 415km when the fuel meter needle pointed to the middle. FYI, it doesnt mean the half fuel tank can give 415km. The fuel tank should be bigger to cover the first half of the fuel meter. After that, the fuel level can drop quite fast.

i bought the car end 2013 new type of vios, now the steering wheel got prob- when turning, got sound like something loose truk truk...the mechanic at the service centre say its wear and tear so change it cost almost RM 6k...wtf... car only mileage 50k and less than 4 years old...

touch wood, any bro or sis here have same situation?

Go to another 2x nearby SC, and get 2nd opinion feedback.. I thought, 5 years warranty?? Year 2013, still under coverage, right? Otherwise, write official letter / email feedback to UMW Toyota about the warranty .. I knew 1x friend of my wrote official letter, or email feedback to Toyota USA or HQ 3 years ago, and successful got his Camry dashboard replacement warranty claim dispute if it is under 5 years warranty.

Is the "sound" continue when turning into left only, or right every time ?

Hi Sifus,
Just bought a Vios variant J AT acouple of months ago. Now i notice that when engine is turned off, and i open the door, i can hear a brief "whurring" sound, coming from around the steering 'area' (couldn't tell exactly the source of the sound). Sounds like 'something' is 'locking/unlocking' (sorry, don't know how to describe). What could that sound be? Just curious.

installed front strut bar - RM 250 and rear antiroll - RM 520. Previously i drive my car 100km/h go through big corner will feel like being pull to other side which is the "g-force" , after install it i drive 120 and go through the big corner again and feel nothing. recommended to get this first before modifying the exterior.

That is steering locking sound. You can try to turn the steering after the "whurring" sound, then you will hear "tak" sound, after that, your steering is locked.
