Pretty sure you'd just have to pry it with your bare hands. If not, cover a plastic squeegee/expired card with a cloth and pop it out. It's held by double sided-tape.
Projector?
You can try Osram Nightbreaker halogens. But there's 4300K LEDs that's like OEM HIDs in colour output. Great for my reflectors during dry/wet driving.
Also, those who owns 2017+ Vios with Dual VVTI + CVT can try to update your ECU.
It will be exactly the same as the new Vios/Yaris in terms of throttle response.
Who's going to the service center soon? Can try to ask. It's free I've heard.  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

My rattling noise came after they replaced for me the push start assembly and neutral lock safety switch.
2015 vios

So how u did it
*
It can varies, try tapping around to see where the noise came from... Mine's behind the Meter panel, which neeed to open up the dashboard. I then rattle around the meter panel's rear wires, and voila, the noise is gone.

How top replace the light bulb of interior light near the mirror? What bulb to buy, i am thinking bright LEDS, and how to open it anyway, just read the vios ' Owner's Manual ' , the do-it-yourself maintenance, but just doesn't show step by step on how to open up the Interior Light.

Hello, everyone.... I own a 2014 Vios...

When the road is wet after rain, and when i ran over a puddle of water, my rear wheel will have a funny noise when i cross over a bump. Flat road and normal driving no noise... and when i left it to ' dry ' for days, i cross bump also no noise ...

I think it's the suspension... is it?

Anyone with similiar issue?

Yeah, that what i was complaining. You make it sound better, like a frog. Lol. I'm suspecting suspension tower not tight. Almost same problem with my gen2 last time. After installing 3 point strut bar, the problem gone.
*
Sorry for bumping old post... my has the sound too... it's rear wheel, and only make sound when wet .

Some said the lower arm.... ( lower arm applies to front or rear or both ?

I not really sure...

mine super new, i asked them when doing 1k service, they test run say no problem, so dunno front or rear they check... 3K service coming soon, maybe will ask them again.
*
I see... from your experience with the noise... which one do you feel it comes from? Mine's rear. Noise like duck/frog after wet .

I checked at outside mechanic , cant find anything... already 3 mechanic
All say the same thing....

I am desperate... please update me once you find out. Thank you..
The noise is killing the fun in the drive. And I very much love my 2014 vios.

Once again, thank you.

front is more apparent, rear seems got, but both are not really bothering until your level of "killing the fun".

if it is that serious, its pretty strange sc and other mechanics can't find the problem. hmm
*
I see..
All 3 mechanic visually inspect the rear absorber system and says the rubber thingy all looks good and no crack... they then took the car for a test drive during dry condition. They all says if the suspension got problem... driving on flat, coarse, bumpy, smooth , cornering , going over hump will instantly and always make noise...

Just after finished checking the car , it rained... I then drive into puddle of water, to make it wet... in moderate speed... it make that noise.. but after s while... going over multiple bump will make the noise gradually quieter. After a few days, it will dry and when driving over hump, it doesn't make a sound... which pretty hard to diagnose... 😂

*

I can explain this because i asked the toyota mechanic before, vios implemented a new suspension system which give more equal impact toward all four absorber, because there's hole in the spring system, which cause frog sound when kena air, thats what he said la  rclxub.gif
*
where's this hole? I want to seal it up for good.

it broke? the clips, i mean... you can actually plug off that plastic part (grab the edge of the silver ) and pull , it will come out then you can try and push it back and it's done.

Hello, everyone... does anyone know how best to repel rat from entering engine bay?

I already saw some poop and urine. no wire chewing yet. Anyone encounter this before?

I opened a threat outside of this group thread, some says using wire brush, but then the rat is smarter and will only enter from different place... I can't really buy a bunch of wire brush and stuff the engine. there's so much opening under the engine.

I don't really know... I just suddenly have the feeling to check up on my car engine, and only found out.
