Do u guys had any idea how can i escalate proton services? I had really tired of sending my car to proton service centre numerous times for repair. The car not even a year and i had uncountable times to go service centre.

Story a bit what car, what problem, where u sent? Try send to COE beside KESAS, their service generally good, I'm quite satisfied sending my cars here.

I got my car on last year Oct. Less than 1 month started had so many sound come from dashboard. Twice go to proton authorised centre in Salak Tinggi one time in cheras and the last one Proton Edar Juru. Proton Edar Juru technician inform this is known issue from Iriz and since New Persona had the same design so the issue from Iriz will be same to new persona. Since i need to go back KL that time i couldnt leave my car at Juru centre and they advise to bring to COSE to install IPKIT. My car ended up leave at COSE for almost 2 weeks and its all fix. No more sound however the aircond keep blowing to my leg even i had turn off that option.

Bring to Proton Authorised Salak Tinggi they found something stuck below there (which means COSE Technician didnt install IPKIT properly). 4 weeks later the sound from dashboard come back again and i had no more energy to send to service center so i decided to ignore until it gone worst the sound come from the back door.

Bring to Salak Tinggi again they try to tighten all the screw however its not fix. And again i just ignore all the sound. And now new sound come from back. Could say my whole car is super noisy shaking sound. Since i am in penang i send to Proton Edar Juru to check again. Technician had fix few minor sound however still got certain sound they couldnt fix. They had rectify the sound was cause by unproperly install of IPKIT.

I had really stuck on this proton car.

My Iriz got dashboard creaking sound too, haven't sent to fix yet, but since machiem not critical, I've been procrastinating it

Well, try talk the matter with the CEO, he seems nice, humble and hardworking guy. I happen to meet him when I service at COSE, never knew who he was until he gave the name card, wow CEO Proton Edar.

Pretty much sums it up for many things in Msia.

Mitsubishi outlander built in japan, after one week creaking sound from dashboard and steering. Hue hue hue.

Can help me also ah, the suprima airbag system not working, airbag light is on, summore the seatbelt also stuck, very hard to pull, and when release, it doesn't automatically go back to its position, need to pull it manually..

its actually better if you diy the sound yourself , i dont even dare to trust proton technician, bukak pasang banyak kali pun boleh jadi lagi teruk bro.


hope u solve ur problem soon which i would recommend u to add aditional soundproofing to the car and solve the issue permenantly.

Sometimes i wonder how pipu can survive in the world. U think escalate to ceo then miraculous your car become benz quality? Even if escalate in the end you just need to skip queue when going to service center la.

U want a better solution? Work harder in life go make more money buy a realiable car then enjoy the better things in life rather than going ti the workshop every month

Soundproof actually Persona had better a lot compare to older proton car. The problem happen to me is the noise that come from dashboard itself which i couldnt do myself.

At first i also wanna buy burukdua. Tapi kawan bapak jual potong kata potong dah improve byk from engine, sound proofing and safety. Manatau the one improve yes its real good...the one didnt improve tu la yg problem😂😂

I sent to Proton Center of Excellence (COE), excellence konon lol.

at least certain problems fixed, the rest of rattle shyt I fix with 1 ultimate=listen to music fking loud.

Rule number 0 = don't buy

Once you take off the dashboard, your real problem begins. Applicable to almost any car any brand.

If it is not serious, just forget about it. Many times in my case, the sound just disappears by itself after 2-3 months.

If it can be rectified by yourself, just diy. This is better because you know what you have done to your car.

My 2011 persona had sounds at the back, after several months they disappeared. Now after 6 years, not a single sound can be heard, only normal wear and tear. Fuel consumption is ok, not great, just a little bit higher than honda city. But handling far better than other cars.

Crash any trees at @ 200 kph, then claim insurance & buy new one.

Well, to be frank, more expensive cars doesn't neccessary means more reliable. VW, Pijot ...all Legendary Workshop addicts despite sky high price.

To be fair, i would agree safety has improved a lot for potong. But the rest...engine? Dude. Same Campro. Same Punch gearbox. 10 years+??? Apa improved?

I oso chose to tolerate the sound, rather than leave car 1-2 weeks and not certain whether will be fixed or not. The rattling on my unit improved after I pushed back in a rubber strip that was falling out. The gap between dash n windscreen.

to TS .. rattle issue is common from iriz and new persona , there is not permanent fix on it cos this is the design problem , just leave it go ... or just sell it and take others car as long as not proton iriz or new persona if u concern the rattle issue

The most major common issue
- Oil engine cooler hose burst unexpectedly ( no fix from proton), if burst then need towing. Worse engine failure due to oil starvation.

- Abs sensor keeps on failing, especially front sides

- CVT reliability hit and miss

- Alignment pull to the left, steering rack flaw

- One way valve ( the first batch usually got affected, will destoy your VVT pulley)

and sooooooo manyyyyyy parts that I have claim warranty such as front headlights, reverse cam, aircond parts inside the dash, absorbers(20k already bocor?), engine mountings(30k already bad)

exora is time for replacement edy .. current model cannot buy ,, not worth it
