QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 24 2025, 10:42 AM) No somehow have to agree with u. our power steering is not adaptive power steering whereby the sensitivity is not adjusted according to speed. In fact, I've been told (by few people and numerous occasions) to loosen my death grip and relax more on my driving loosen the grip a bit will give more comfort in our driving and provide a bit more stability. thats my feeling |

QUOTE(KingArthurVI @ Sep 27 2025, 05:01 PM) I have a big butt but feel fine jer… when you said your butt hurt, is it bone pain or muscle sore or what? I solve the problem by putting a cushion for long distance driving. Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 13 2025, 08:30 PM) Yeah I've been looking for this and if anyone here got solution Today being Part time Honda technician/foreman/engineer - Recorded 3 videosI'm guessing it's probably some panel or side mirror causing wind buffet or turbulence » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « So long exceed 95km/h, wind noise coming from passenger side 100% can be replicable, repeatable 100% success rate to repeat it. After masking tape - Also shared masking tape on car images to Honda Melaka I've recorded 2 videos, no more noise, DIY problem solved, temporarily, as obviously it doesn't look good to have masking tape on a brand new car 😂🤣 KingArthurVI liked this post

QUOTE(KingArthurVI @ Oct 1 2025, 05:42 PM) The car has acoustic windscreen and double-glazed window on RS I think. My RS never really hear wind noise above 100 also, not sure if it's because of that or if it's something specific to your car? It's a globally and "commonly" (according to the Honda foreman/technician anyways, lol!) known issue with the rubber/plastic moulding between the windscreen and a pillar. Few known issues: 1) the mounting clips broken from factory 2) the mounting clips are loose/not pressed all the way in 3) the position or alignment of the trim piece is off even by few mm I kena 3 And all the mentioned factory/manufacturing defects will (at least from my car and the overseas owners) will face a whistling high pitched wind noise from those air gaps. I'd reckon and assume, that it's a lot less likely to happen on RS trims with the added roof rails (can fit the plastic rubber trim better lol) And maybe, #BersangkaBaik , the active noise cancellation feature would help negate the noise - probably talking out of my ass as the wind noise is really loud! So Honda 's official fix (instead of my DIY masking tape, lol) , is to remove the trim, inspect if it's clips are broken, then re attach it, trial and error test drive on highway, rinse repeat until they got it right. First few attempts they mount it lower, didn't solve, then later raised it higher, fixed If you're OCD, it's very slightly few mm difference than driver side trim, lol. Even though they #Bojio me test drive together (I think training younger/newer staff? They had 2 guys always in the car throughout the entire process), I'm able to track their movements cuz 70Mai 4G GPS DashCam 😂🤣 But I not so worried until need to spy them through DashCam la lol, just see GPS location and the map. Some context and background as to how/why I manage to pinpoint it so quickly and speed up the process with Honda - I only waited at SC 2 hours, in addition to immediately able "walk in next day" despite the usual 1-2 day(s) of lead time via Honda Touch appFew known issues: This exact whistling noise happened to my previous Proton Inspira It was due to a rubber/trim on the top of windscreen Back then troubleshooting was much harder as it only occur around/over 200km/h the awesome experience was the previous SA back then Layan me all the way joined me test drive at MEX highway. Obviously I was the driver as they won't assume responsibility of such speeds. |

QUOTE(KingArthurVI @ Oct 2 2025, 12:02 AM) Yeah it's already fixed on the day itself within 2 hours as mentioned on my previous postNot angry or frustrated, just find it comical and nostalgic this is happening on a 170k (retail price) Honda CRV Vs a (80k) Proton Inspira |
