Wow!  Just had a first hand experience of the collision mitigation.  A car swerved right in front of me from the next lane, and before I knew it the brakes were activated mere fraction of a second after the warning beeps were heard.  I could feel the delay in my reaction as an onlooker watching the car react so quickly.  THUMBS up for Honda Sensing!  (There were no other passenger in the car except for a Honda umbrella which rolled off the seat when the brakes were applied.)

Nice.. This is why such safety systems should be standard on all cars. Yes, I get it.. It makes for lazier drivers or overdependence. But I'll take that over hoping that the driver in the other car is quick or skillful enough to brake in time.

Any suggestions for car handle and cup protection, and side step sill cover/protection? These are commonly scratched areas from frequent use

Hi guys, anyone use wax on a car that has had ceramic coating? I know the advice is you can throw all these wax and polish products in the bin. But I am wondering if the additional wax would make the car appear even more glossy?

Collected my car last Tuesday. Going to share my experiences a little so far with my ride as I noticed my comments above about the quality.

1. Collected the car on Tuesday - during inspection, noticed a tiny scratch mark near the petrol cap but other than that all were fine

2. Hibernate at home whole day as I will be sending the car for coating on Thursday

3. Drove all the way from Seremban to Shah Alam (Ceramic Pro Malaysia) for coating. Highway drive (all ECO mode till date) all smooth and no rattling sound at all (only slightly less than 110km/h) Underpowered, slightly most likely due to the ECO mode but no issue for me (new car, sure sayang a bit and drive like Uncle)

4. Ceramic Pro folks managed to find 2 more spots that I have missed during inspection - swirl mark on the roof (can't be removed / covered completely after wax) and a tiny spot near the drive side mirror (paint chipped but after wax hardly noticed) Great work by Ceramic Pro Team. Definitely can felt the instant boost of the materials quality both internal and external now

5. During the drive back to Seremban, heavy thunderstorm (no kidding - Thursday evening) Hardly can see the car in front along ELITE highway. But the drive was smooth (~70km/h) Quiet and does not felt like the rain dropped on zinc bumbung (I recalled someone commented this earlier)

6. Drove to Malacca as well over the weekend. This time I took the trunk road (Pedas/Linggi) to test out the narrow and winding road. Car performed great without any major issues. Some sharp turns hardly need to brake much. Also hardly hear anything in the cabin - sound proof is great.

7. Pump Shell VPower on Thursday (1 trip to KL and 1 trip to Malacca) just around half tank now with near 400KM left to drive, not too bad I guess

Complaints so far
-------------------
1. Too many gaps around the external body. Between the parts / lights. Hard to reach when wiping the water and insects tend to stuck in between the gaps

2. Cheap car plate from Honda (felt as if it will peel off anytime soon)

3. Brake pad is slightly loud when release but nothing major

Just some honest review so far based on the car I had now. I wanted to comment all down to pure luck but obviously Honda may need to improve on the build quality but well I guess that's how it is now for majority of businesses? No matter how much we pay we still may get some bad apples - my 2 cents

How is the coating holding up? How do you take care of the coating? Can share pics of your car?

I don't think such system makes for lazier drivers, just like how ESC would make for reckless drivers. Drivers who are lazy or reckless will remain reckless and lazy, the difference being such system will have higher chance of saving them from killing other people.
There are people who think that NCAP 5-star rating or even ABS (let's not get started on ESC) are not important because all this while they have been driving tin kosong cars and survive till today. This is the group of people who are most likely found driving without putting on their seat belts, tin kosong cars notwithstanding.
