QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Sep 25 2018, 08:45 AM) If you are going to leave it permanently attached to the PC, best to go get yourself the TM's set, B618-65d modem/router, which is the king of 4G/LTE modems. It costs RM569 vs if you buy from retail outside which is RM1.2k. IMHO, it's a steal and worthy investment. Yup the B618 is really good . But nowadays, with cheap fiber plan.... going for the unifi 100mbps plan is cheaper than digi, only rm129. Plan to switch over to unifi. Unless digi comes out with a better plan for us. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 25 2018, 09:28 AM) Yes agree, but previously unifi only 10mbps, and digi was able to give 50mbps for same price. Hence using digi was worth it. Now totally change the game plan. With fiber plan getting really affordable... with high 100mbps. Its a tough sell for digi now. Really love the infinite plan, but now its being out cast by fibers. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 26 2018, 02:40 PM) Err.. Don't quote me. I have no issue with Digi Infinite 150. Always 110Mbps even super peak hours, normal non peak hours is 150Mbps. which speedtest server you choose? i find that all ookla servers giving different results.most stable is Maxis and Extreme Broadband, sometimes IX Telecom in Cyberjaya. But never get to reach 150mbps. You must be staying right under the tower? |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Sep 28 2018, 12:40 PM) speaking of that, any idea why can't see servers in petaling jaya besides webe? previously have maxis digi etc yup, notice that also, digi ookla server is missing.Maybe digi didn't pay the fees for the license or expired already. Its funny, that previously speedtest with digi's own server is slower than others, e.g. Extreme Broadband Wonder why??? anybody knows? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 28 2018, 03:24 PM) Yes, each gives different results but will not vary much. Yr speed is incredible. I tried testing right under a digi tower on top a shop lot roof, but still cannot get pass 100mb??Nope, not under tower. If under tower, I would have dead by now, quite a distance based on the Signal something app (I have deleted the app). Signal full 5bar with 4g+ ac . I think it will be useful to share a map of digi speedtest area with high good results. My area in ss1 pj, max can get only 90mb. |
