ive read at playasia.com bout the hd-dvd player..and the player include hd dvd player software disk...from what i know it just plug and play rite no need to install anything...or else ? help me.

I plugged and played. Although it said, got software update lah. But I didnt update so I got logged out of Live. Doesnt hurt me though.   |

Mine was prompted via Live. I didn't install anything from the CD. It will still work even if you do not install, I believe. Amazon UK has cheap HD-DVDs but I cant for the life remember if HD-DVDs are region locked
