With regards to FPSO, does anyone know why companies choose to lay up FPSO instead of scrapping or selling off? For example, Bumi Armada has laid off FPSO Claire since 2016. I'm pretty sure it costs them money. What's the incentive for them in this regards?

How is that even possible? How about everyone abroad?

Petronas doesn't need to, as they don't have the same pressure from shareholders.

Also, Petronas SHOULDN'T abruptly exit the O&G space. Let the Western oil majors shoot themselves in the foot with unrealistic shareholders expectations. Petronas will be there to enjoy high oil prices once the majors end their O&G investments.

Reduce yes, put no pressure to entirely remove.

Looks like Bumi Armada is on a comeback path. Future developments will be focused on marginal fields. Also they’re going in to floating gas as well.

I’m just curious, in their partnerships with Shapoorji Pallonji, which company supplies the engineering know how? Which company is technically more competent?

Guys, I've been ready about Serba Dinamik lately with their scandal with KPMG.

I've not really seen the company being discussed here. From a purely professional point of view, how is their quality of work / expertise seen as? I thought they were a fast rising company, especially with their increasing presence abroad. They also bought Teluk Ramunia fabrication yard from Petronas not too long ago.

Why is that though? Market is at 3-year highs. There has been chronic underinvestment over the last 5 years, especially over the last 12 months. A lot of oil majors moving towards green energy.

By right, now should be the PERFECT time to scale up and go all-in in the oil and gas industry.
