I you cash rich just go ahead buy it.

Car more than 10 year cannot loan with bank, if can the tenure only 1 3 years only which is higher monthly commitment.

Sorry, your comment is the childish one. lostgirl said UNLESS he makes more than rm10k go for other cars which is pretty reasonable.

If TS earns RM10K a month will he be going for 10 years old cars? At 25 y.o. it is best for him to focus on building his career rather than spending time, money and energy on old luxury cars which are very expensive and troublesome to maintain. I'm surprised there are people egging him on. If he goes ahead life will give him some painful lessons from the school of hard knocks.

Yes I dun earn Rm 10 k per months but since Bmw and mercedes price is quite affordable after 10 years .
Maintenance I dun mind but if the amount is ok .
Since as I saw from Mercedes C200 W203 and BMW 320i the design is quite worth it for the current price.

For example if I get a Honda Civic 1.5 turbo also useless.
Made from the same factory as proton

If you find a good condition used car you can spare less than that.

In 2014 I bought an old Merc SLK 230k (first gen), after 39 mths owning it I spent about RM14.5k on maintenance cost so far, running cost (RT, ins, tyres, car polish etc) excl petrol about RM11.4k and upgrade cost (wheel upgrade, bodykits, wind deflater) about RM4k.

So, it's all about down to homework, read up forum to know the common problems, and knowing the right place to find the parts and right prices for the parts. Of course a bit of luck as well that you don't get a lemon.

agree. not cheap though, but at least you got the warranty for the new car.

but the ride and handling, nothing is comparable to bmw and merc. ver different.

but the poison on the contis are once you feel them they are hard to turn back.

so you need to learn and ask where to source for what material or parts for your lovely conti ride. you need to know the lubang.

if you have a bunch of friends doing so, that would be perfect.

BTW. Loving my C230K, just took it yesterday, from a Hyundai Accent to a C230K, its a world apart.

But i am still keeping my accent. still love my accent.

There is no meaning for u to keep the 2nd car. You just losing more money from 2nd car depreciation.

You will still have to fork out the money to repair regardless there is 2nd car or not...

Taking grab or taxi still cheaper economically compare keeping another car as stand by...
