Attacking wise, alonso quite good. His assist to mitchy really good. But he a bit slow, sandro or mendy is an upgraded to him. But mendy done deal already with city, hopefully we can get sandro.

Messi won his first Ballon d'Or when he was just 22. Neymar is already 25. Messi is 30 this year and by the looks of it, could easily play at the top level until he is 33-34. Is Neymar willing to wait till 29-30 when he is already past his prime?

There seems to be a common misconception that Neymar is still a youngster still developing under the wings of Messi. No, his time is now if he ever wants to make his mark like Messi did. You could even argue that he is running out of time as Neymar is more reliant on his pace than Messi was. He probably only has a few years left at the peak of his game. Realistically, I don't see him winning Ballon d'Or even if he moves to PSG, but I certainly won't fault him for showing ambition.

An update on the injuries to Pedro in the game in China has been issued.

Pedro stayed in hospital overnight in Beijing for observation having sustained a concussion and facial injuries in last night's game against Arsenal.

He will now return to London for further review.

Pedro injured. GG. Hazard, Bakayoko, Pedro sidelined. Hope they can recover in time for first game of the season.

On the whole Neymar saga. I kinda understand why he wants to leave. In Barca, it's Messi, things just go thru Messi. Neymar certainly will never win Ballon D'or as long as he is in the same team as Messi and a lot of the football still goes thru Messi. Heck, when Enrique was manager, I rmb Messi actually told Enrique how to play and who to play.

Neymar need to be the main man. So he wants to leave. Understandable. But for newer gen, aka Neymar, Bale, Griezmann. I'm backing Griezmann. He just needs to start performing in those crucial match, like semi finals, finals. All he need is juz 1 holy grail CL.
