QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Nov 10 2008, 08:47 PM) It depends, if you are looking to get more Kiwi friends, it would be better if you can get a hall. But the application dateline was at the 1st of October, so sorry mate. But don't get disheartened, there are usually lots of places in trademe where you can get rooms instead of the whole flat and usually you'll find a place where there are Kiwis or some other international students, it's not that hard to get a single room, as there are heaps in the city. Will you come here as a first year student or are you a twinning student? im a transfer student actually. thx for the advice. im going alone. i dont know anyone whose going to vic uni so its rather daunting for me. all my friends are going to australia.....initially i was supposed to join them but change of plans to nz instead.

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Jan 14 2009, 06:04 AM) I'm leaving very very very soon, before the 10th of February, so can't really meet you here If you are going to the Pipitea campus and do not own any cars, try to look around Lambton Quay, The Terrace or Thorndon. Not surburbs but streets. However, if you are planning to buy a car but want to stay near to the city, Aro Valley is the place for you. Or you can always find cheap flats in Karori, Northland, etc. Island Bay's good too, near a beach, but a bit far la Do u think i should settle my accomodation before i arrive in wellington or go there n look for flats? Added on January 31, 2009, 10:56 amHey anyone going to VUW for Trimester 1? Need friends...LOL This post has been edited by aaron4d: Jan 31 2009, 10:56 AM

QUOTE(booooster @ Mar 19 2009, 06:37 PM) its not that bad I did my last 2 years (5th and 6th form) cos m a resident easier to get into uni there and finished a BCom from Auckland Uni if your in Aucks I reckon its slightly better den other cities more urban I guess so...I'm in Wellington. Are u still in NZ or hav u come back to Malaysia? Added on March 20, 2009, 6:16 amQUOTE(haya @ Mar 19 2009, 08:01 PM) Well, at the very least come back to Malaysia and contribute. Not everyone who goes overseas to study leaves with the intent to permanently settle down there, through that is becoming the norm. When I first came here, I was of that idea i.e. to permanently settle down here. But now, there is a possibility that i might go back. Wad bout u Haya? are u done with NZ or hav u decided to stay here? This post has been edited by aaron4d: Mar 20 2009, 06:16 AM
