Just change my tires to Assurance Triplemax. Still too early to judge but compare to my previous F1D5, Triplemax seems to be quieter but perhaps slightly less grip.

That's a pity, at 15k km there's still plenty of life in them, at least another 25-30k km.

No idea if it will be quieter than your performance tires... What i can say is ATM1 is very quiet. However the current ATM2 it's louder than ATM1, of course it has improved grip over it's predecessor. Grip wise, i think its comparable with Mich XM2+. Sound maybe Mich XM2+ is slightly less or same loudness. Of course these are premium, long life tires. Dont expect sporty.
You want sporty and comfort quiet... Many say Mich Pilot sport tires, whichever version.

Honestly I don't know coz I never tried any add on insulation at all. I am very tolerant to noise (driving Evo with extreme category AD08R tires now and listening to heavy metal music), so I am the wrong person to ask about noise and insulation. Lol  Last time also I used my F1D5 until bald at over 50k km on my Mark X.

CC6 is already shit grip, cannot imagine if worse than that! Lol

Wow, I didn't get to try CC6. I used to have CC5, dry was ok... But wet it was really shit. The only tires that is good at wet at that time was ATM1 plus it was quiet as well. That's how I end up using ATM, as my friend was using XM2. It was ok, good but not better than ATM1 at that time. XM2+ the noise level quieter than XM2. According to media post online by a lot of sites,, it seems there is improvement... But hey you are paying extra for XM2+for high milage durability (should last upto 100k km or more) it's bound to be less performance than ATM2 (60k I'm will start to be careful)

I'm still using my ATM2, 10k km in it's going good for me. It grips well when cornering into those clover leaf highway merge/exit.  Mind you I'm driving Almera, it's not good in handling.
