Well I recently changed to Assurance TripleMax. Its abit more expensive than CC6. But I find them to be more grippy than my old CC5. WET and DRY are geat. Rolling resistance is higher, so better grip.

assurance isn't in the same class as conti CC. efficientgrip is. i think assurance is more or less similar to conti UC6 instead.

Probably right. CC quality really more on eco n comfort. Seriously it is Conti UC6? I thought the price more or less comparable with conti MC. Oh well, i prefer Goodyear than soft compound tires like Dunlop/Conti. I have never tried other brands yet.

its hard to compare by price. for example in the same category, michelin primacy st is also comfort and quiet category but priced at premium.

conti MC5, i dont know it falls in which category. it's not comfort nor quiet but yet not high performance shakehead.gif maybe it is just normal touring tayar.

i like goodyear efficientgrip. silent comparable to CC but previously i used was made in china so the goodyear tayar got bulging on the sidewall.

Yeah have to compare more apple-to-apple category. For my experience, I've used Goodyear F1D5 which is a UHP tire and after that I replace with Conti CSC5 which is also UHP. Both tires are very good but the CSC5 is superior.

Bought four pieces of GY Triplemax size 195 50 16, and it was way noisy and lacking grip as compared to the original equip Bridgestone Turanza ER370. The thread after 50% usage started to chip and deteriorated badly. Not recommended.

If its r16. Better go for Premium Luxury tires. Like Efficientgrip, Excellence, Asymmetric F1.
Triplemax is only good for wet grip. So its not most silent. I think the compound n grip for wet braking might make it a bit soft and easy to chip. Anyway r16 have more choices and better tires as well.

Wow, cheap. If its near and convenient for you, better to buy there. Well r15 are just borderline before it gets expensive.

I heard their efficientgrip range is quite good, would love to try my hand on them. Any good recommendation for 235/55/18 suv?

Am on this set of tyres at the moment. Assurance Triple Max is Mid-Tier tyre range. Thus its more expensive than economy Conti Comfort Contact 6.

Performance is definitely better right off the bat. Grips well in corners and gives you more confidence in the wet without/less aqua planning.

CC5 > N8000 > TripleMax.

Wont go back biggrin.gif

I am not sure, I see many with Michelin's on the road though. Maybe some other user can help u. My rims are only 15", no chance to try Premium tires.

Bro... ">" means the left/previous is better than the right/latter.
Means CC5 is way better, and TripleMax sucks. Hahaha.
