Yes but just a little splash. And it was 2 weeks ago. When it happened I couldn't charge my phone for 4 hours. That's acceptable. Then suddenly 1 week ago the problem came back but off and on, and this had gone to worse 3 days ago. It kept on prompting moisture  is detected when I plugged in the charger. Restarting the phone alone will not solve this problem.

XZ premium looks good on specs n reviews too but I had yet to test it. I had order my unit yesterday
S8+ follow by U11 will be my current recommendation

This is scary. A splash shouldn't be a problem given that s8 supposed to be IP68. Samsung better have a good explanation for this

At least can still charge using fast wireless charger which is still fine

Maybe right angle splash to charging port, get affected by aircond cool room n become moisture later.

Even is ip68 but need to clean, wrap n hair dryer blow it dry so that in future no moisture.
