I will go to UK work for 4 months.
Location at Surrey and accommodation is provided by company.
I would like to know everything about preparation, expenses and life in UK.

1. What to bring?
2. What do not bring?(can buy from uk cheaper)
3. What telephone package is more ecomonically to use at uk?Remain my digi number or sign contract with uk telephone company?How much?
4. How's the winter wear at there?
5. Can bring laptop with mp3 songs? What about softwares?.

Some malaysia food if u think u cant live without it..eg: milo and old town white coffee for me..or curry powder..or bak kut teh.?..other things i guess u can get it in uk..
can get rice and instant noodle also?

Sign a contract here is better..but i doubt u can sign for one unless u have a visa here?..if not buy a pay as u go sim card called LEBARA..call back msia only 5p per minute..quite worth..

winter coat..glove..and scaft will do..since u will only be here for 4 months..

yeah..so far they wont check yr lappie...no problem with mp3 songs...

I just feel don't want to pack too many thing go there, as simple as possible.
For the prepaid service, how much the starting cost and minimum monthly top up value? How is the charges rate to receive/call/sms/online to m'sia?
Does internet or wifi can get everywhere?
