Hmm.... how do one knows whether the Disc bought is a real D9 or D5? Like in the GOW2 case.... many *ahem* are selling it at D9 price, but actually it could be a D5 discs only, and incomplete one some more ..

I remember reading it some where, but was not able to search back that post, where there is this software can check whether the disc is dual layered or single layered.

Anyway, can I just insert the disc in my PC's DVD-ROM and check the size? if smaller than 4.7GB then it should be D5, and if greater than 4.7GB then it should be a D9 disc?

you can look at the disc itself..
u can differ how the innerside of the shining face of the disc.. D9 is dual layer.. and u should clearly see a dual layer(2 rings)... susah mau cakap laa.. but if u try to differentiate side by side..u can see it.

Nope you cannot conclude it base on that. Try taking a GT4 D9 and pop it into your DVDROM/RW and check. It'll state 3.9GB but when you decrypt it out its 5.x GB

and D5 you won't get 4.7GB, to be exact its 4.38GB

i used mds4 pro..for six months until one day it crapped onme..pure suicidal. too many issueswith dms.stay clear..now i m on original Matrix infinity..no issues what soever....

Is the old/fat version of new PS2 still available in market? Cos I found a shop that said it does sell the fat version which is about RM50 more expensive than the thin version. Actually I'm tempted, just that I thought new fat console not exist anymore. Reason is I dont want to be conned into buying a recon/second hand unit.

Currently i facing some problem with the LCD TV.I juz get myself a component cable.After i connect it 2 my LCD TV,it stated that "Mode not support".Any bro here know whats the problem is it?
By the way My LCD TV is samsung 32" LA32R7

your TV support 480i on component or not? coz native and only resolution for PS2 is 480i. Try using Xploder and see how it goes..

i wonder can use computer usb keyboard n mouse to play or not directly plug into the usb slot? anybody can confim this?

CAN ! but only for supported games.. ARMAX, CodeBreaker can use keyboard to enter codes and chat.. also for other online games.. and Dirge of Cerberus can play with mouse.. bear in mind not all games support keyboard and mouse ok. that's it.

my PS2 koyak! got light but cant eject or play any games..
went to diagnosed and found out it's the lens and motor IC spoilt.. to fix i need RM280.. so need to know all sifus here how much izit for these 2 parts?
