what do u mean by that?set it on the pc or on the ps2? how to do it ? 

I got question about ps2 media player, did anyone ever play .mkv file on ps2? what kind of  software can play .mkv file?

im totally newbie with ps2.. recently i bought used ps2 fat SCPH39001 (modded for playing ehem2 games) from forumer here which is running perfectly..
but im fedup with with the loading during games.. so i planning installing the hard drive.. which is can running much faster than using lens..

i have a network adapter SCPH10351 which is new and 200GB Seagate IDE HDD (format to fat32) which is fit perfectly..

so i slot my hdd into network adapter and put it on expansion bay..then nothing detected..

so now.. my stupid question is what should i do next?? hdloader??  can someone  explain to step by step until i can acces/play to my hdd??

i have a noob questions.... when i want loading to the browser... coz i want dlete the save game... but its stuck when it say loading... how to solve it?? can memory card to been format it?? sory for the noob question

you no need to pening2.. you go to gameshop.. u ask for "codebreaker 9.2" (cheat program for ps2).. u insert the cd.. then u can see so many hacking program inside like hdloader, launchelf.. from there you can click hdloader and run your game from harddisk..
im still learning from my nephews.. just got ps2 fat from him last week.. full of gta games, winning eleven, fifa..etc..

but how to boot mp2 from memory card instead of cd or dvd ehh? i copy the boot file, ulaunch.elf.. still the sony greeting, browse & configuration come out! i want to boot ulaunch.. anybody can help.. ?

i manage to boot from memory card.. installing free mcboot 1.8, copy hdloader tomemory card.. wow.. no need laser/dvd to run games.. i bought the codebreaker 9.2 at sunway pyramids.. inside not only cheat, it also have hdloader 0.7c, launchelf 3.1.. etc..

im using ar max evo cheat.. i want to know, how do i save the cheat on pendrive or memory card or harddisk, so i can use the cheat for playing games from my hard disk?

i cant play game using hardisc. Not sure either my network adapter or my ps2 problem, I m sure 100% that no problem with the hardisc (tested it on pc). Went to a few shops but most of them don’t allow me to test my network adapter on their ps2 and some are not compatible due to mine is Scph -5500GT NTSC-J version. Can anyone help me, maybe we can meet and I can give a try of my network adapter so I can know what the real problem is.

guys.. one noob question here.. can ps2 play with keyboard n mouse? if can, is it ordinary keyboard with usb or special keyboard n mouse for ps2?

Yeah,uhm nope the game is pirated,i mean all the games i bought are pirated but some able to play and some not.I just bought a new game 'Harvest Moon' and it failed to load.Been having this ps2 for i think 4 or 5 years

still worth it to get PS 2?..or is PS2 a total waste of money if i get it now?..
