Wah...so many new glider owners liao....I had been so busy that I had not been able to write here.....

So are we having another gathering ?? ..... tongue.gif My schedule should be quite free during the fasting month......

Frodo had been very very active now....which I am so glad....he is now looking to come out the cage like Eowyn whenever I open up.....whereby Uncle Gollum will still remain in the cage.....

Will try to take some pic of their fluffy tails.....somehow their tails becoming more and more fluffy with the sweet potato and carrot diet..... hmm.gif ...

Wahhhhhh, so many happenings, I "penings" tongue.gif

Just got back... I miss Iggy & Luna...

---

CFP, later I post pix of Iggy too, he's more active when he's out, won't sit still, very hard to take pix smile.gif

---

Reanne, I want, I want, too!

Ohhhhh, Miko!!! wub.gif

Love the stoned pix with big googly eyes wub.gif

When are we going to meet up again??

---

Carson, letting Peachu go??

Oh dear... I hope you'll find a good owner for her...

Make sure you know the owner, better smile.gif

---

Hun, where's mine??

Hehehe tongue.gif

OMG, I'm poisoned dead by the joeys sweat.gif

Can see the face shorter compared to Jarrah when you got him...

Are they okay? I mean, cuz they're still too young...

Ahh, mebbe I can see them tonight wink.gif

Can't wait!

Luna and Iggy back with KP hehehe.... had fun babysitting them but having 7 gliders in my room is really not an easy task hahaha. All the crabbing and hissing. But thankfully everything turned out well.

Short face, wider head.... this could be another strain of gliders since I notice got the longish face and shorter face, tail length also a bit different.

Yups.... 7 weeks is too young loh actually, but then they are doing well with the milk I'm feeding them. So those who are taking the joeys from me, must get a packet of Pets Own milk from Pet Family, around Rm6.80 only.

Gawd.... I feel like a nanny, caring for some cry babies hahahah.

QUOTE(carenys55 @ Aug 13 2007, 04:50 PM)
The Joeys are really adorable man!
But Joey B seems to be more active,
climbing around hun's hand.

Cant wait to get my glider!
Oh her name would be
CHLOEY!!! tongue.gif

Sure you can't wait.... will give you lots of fun and headache haahha.

So happy to have Iggy & Luna back icon_rolleyes.gif

Thank you for taking good care of them Hun notworthy.gif

Let Iggy out last night, he climbed around his fav. curtain, but somehow didn't want to come back to me until I showed him his pouch. While Luna stay in the pouch with her head popped out and on my lap biggrin.gif

They didn't eat much last night, mebbe not used to the mix with added Vionate & RepCal yet. I have removed the supplements on the mealworm now since I added it to the mix.

This morning when I was replacing their food, Iggy hopped onto my arm and didn't wanna get off. He nibbled very lightly only and scent mark me sweat.gif Try to shake him off (cuz my arm was stuck in the cage with him on it sweat.gif ) He didn't wanna get off. Tried to lure him off with a fruit cut, instead, he took the fruit and started eating it on my arm too doh.gif So there I stood in front of the cage, with half my arm stuck in it for almost 5 mins until he finally got off blink.gif

Then just now when I arrived in office, let them out for a while... Iggy crawled all over me and wants to go inside my shirt with his now super sharp nails sweat.gif Goodness, left my whole neck red and itching mad.gif

Then he did his antics of jumping to the reception girl, crawl all over her, then jump back to me doh.gif Aiyoo, when I'm around, he's so berani pulak...

Haha, I'm happy to have them back, all stinky, super sharp nail and naughty tongue.gif

-----

Yeah, Cheaka, can see their tail fluffier wub.gif

Can't wait for the next gathering...

I don't wanna miss it! flex.gif

initially i have 3 gliders(a pair and thier son)...all are very tame and can be handheld except the dominant father...very ferocious...it bites...tried to bond with him but in the end i gave up....so as it goes along the pair had given birth 5 times so far:-

1st - one male
2nd - one male, one female
3rd - 2 males
4th - 2 females
5th - 2 joeys but still in pouch(about 2 weeks old)

talking about bonding...it's easy when their still young...i handheld them when they just OOP for few minutes for them to get used to my scent....do tat everyday(preferably in the night when the mom leaves them behind to feed)....this is so to prevent from interrupting when the joeys are weaning....

Talking about breeding as in your experience is ok.... but pairing is a no no. Swapping is ok but no discussions of swapping for breeding. Do so in PM.

Hi,

I'm new to this Sugar Glider...soo cute and even cuter...er, why aren't they called "Flying Fox" , same ?

Intending to get one baby glider soooon..but I have some questions about this cute glider..

1. if i get a baby, which is a better choice to get, a male o female ? better for me to get only 1 ? or a pair is better ?
2. is it advisable for me to bring along inside a car, when i'm on the move ? will it run around ? or should be in a cage ?
3. if i bring it out, will it get stressed if exposed to a lot of people ?

or any good advice you can give for a beginner like me ?

by the way, where can i get or find ??

appreciate it.

thanks for the informative articles on sugar glider... rclxms.gif

cheers !

1. female or male . it doesnt matter. many ppl say they prefer female .
2. just bring em anywhere. i bring them anywhere i go. to work, shopping, jalan2, balik kampung, etc. i put them inside bonding pouch . you can get it from KP
3. this one i'm not sure. my gliders aren't exposed to ppl. so they are abit angry when other ppl kacau them tido . sweat.gif

more research.

some home breeder or pet store. in lyn also got ppl selling.
