QUOTE(cheaka @ May 8 2007, 10:27 AM) I also don't know..i was surprised that they all get along but I can see Frodo felt a bit left out as Gollum and Eowyn is now I think husband and wife liao......And Frodo is very very shy all the time.....But I can see Frodo still very sayang at Eowyn as Eowyn likes to roam around and Frodo would follow her or try to call her.... I think Frodo respects the senior But sometimes it is weird...Frodo would follow Gollum around...they are always together whenever they are in the coconut hut..... Hehe, that's my theory lar... Iggy is back to normal already Hmm, just wanna ask, do you guys leave big meals for your suggies at night? Now I will always leave 2 bowls of food for Iggy, 1 is the mix and 1 is fresh fruits. By morning, all gone KP |

Wahh, Eowyn so tame lah like that, can jump on your shoulder whenever you open the cage
Iggy is always eager to greet me every morning for his treat, climb all over the front of the cage but I never really open it lor cuz I give the treat thru the bars only, then he jump onto the branch and eat. Mealworm also like that, will come and take it, then jump off somewhere to eat it Haha, atleast your feeding got shift... Iggy, all the time also see me only, that's why he don't want with my husband KP |

Kiah : "Once a free range glider, always a free range glider!"
2 suggestions for the cage, 1) Sell it back on LYN. (Suggie cage is like "hotcakes" 2) Keep it and turn it into a suggie boarding cage Hahaha KP |

If they have been introduced since young or gone thru the whole A-OK introduction if they are adults, should be okay
But if 2 male, 1 female could be a problem, except for Cheaka's case ler... The male could fight for dominance. KP |

Well, in my opinion it is okay to share the cage if it is big enough.
But my worry is when you need to go away or move out one day, seperating gliders could be very depressing for them unless they have their our special companion. One more thing, since kubiz already got a male, make sure the female is at almost the same age when introducing. Cuz a sub adult or adult male with a joey female would not be the best thing. KP Added on May 8, 2007, 5:36 pmOhh, I even just found out from the Glider University that the best cage size for keeping suggies aren't actually 3ft by 3ft, it should be big enough to enable them to glide from one side to another which is appx. 9ft by 9ft Yeah, I know, sounds insane... So I would say, the bigger the cage, the better. Or else taking them out from their cage for occasionally for gliding, is a must... Let them spread their patagium KP This post has been edited by krynzpeaches: May 8 2007, 05:36 PM |

Haihh, pening pulak read the new stuffs on Glider University. If follow all ah, we are consider cruel owners, sighhh
Well, we can never know when suggies are on heat or not, unlike cats. I still think it is better to keep Aiko till she big enough to put together with Chika KP |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ May 8 2007, 08:31 PM) Hahaha.... 9ft is huge but if we let our gliders free range more, I think it would be ok lah. I have never seen Kiah glide much.... normally she will just jump on me from somewhere high.... I normally am the one who makes her glide by tossing her to my curtains hahahah. Yalah, 9ft giler huge Iggy loves to hang like a square, you know hang by 2 feet and stretch in his cage. When he climb up my curtain he'll glide from the top to me... Haihh, one time missed and left a scratch mark on my thigh, other time always land on my head... Some people ask me to toss Iggy to see him glide, but I don dare to do lah KP |
