And Shurie's a chewer, but so far, she has not chewed through the mesh on her pouch. I think the flexarium might be safe enough for suggies who are chewers too.

Haha. Different gliders also varies in size. Wasabi is probably smaller in size now, but wait another month then compare again, you'll probably see how big he'll become.

Aye! Preferably during August please.
Will be having my semester break then. And btw, Shurie doesn't want to touch the mealworms at all. Tried it just now at PS with those normal mealies. The sales assistant also pulled of it's head and let her taste the juice. All she did was to turn her head away every time. I'm pretty certain it's going to be the same results for crickets. Are there any other source of protein to replace the mealworms? So far I only know there's mealies and crickets for suggies, other insects that have been mentioned in other websites doesn't seem like it's available in Malaysia. |

Wah, poor Iggy, kena kacau by CFP. It's a wonder Iggy didn't crab at you at PS when we met up.
Shurie's still a little blur. Don't know what's wrong with her. She really seems to dislike mealies. Even when she has tasted the juice, she'll still turn her head away. Somehow, I get the feeling I have a picky glider for a baby. |

Whee! Just got news from Hun that Shadow's arriving by this weekend. Can't wait to see him!
And the mix I usually get from Hun is with chicken. But would like to try other sources of protein if possible. Hun also suggested using pinkies and see if it works. Added on June 13, 2007, 4:55 pmOh and Pennywise, Slurp and Hun's mix is the same thing. Just different ways of calling it. Try leaving some food for your glider during the morning and night. Mine usually eats only when she's hungry, so there isn't really a set timing for me to feed mine. And bringing him out inside the pouch will not disturb him. You'll have to get him used to various sounds and movements around you. Try jumping around and bringing him to noisy places to make him used to the noise. This was taught by Hun to me last time. And what's wrong with using the normal fluorescent lighting? This post has been edited by snowcandy: Jun 13 2007, 04:56 PM |

Okay, this might be a tad out of topic.
The RC hamsters in PS were really sick. Not to mentioned, no one bothered to care for them. I went there yesterday with sense_less and we saw two mottled black fighting. One had it's left eye bitten out and the poor thing was a bloody mess. Sighs. And Hun, there was only one female suggie in PS. She was soooo tiny! Poor thing must have been OOP for less than a month. |

Pennywise, does your car have any holes under the dashboard? Because I've noticed that many cars have holes under their dashboard, Shurie almost went into one the last time I let her roam around the car. After that, I've made sure to check every car for holes first before letting her out.
And I hope someone would buy that poor little thing in PS. She's being stared at and being brought out of the cage all the time, it's a wonder she doesn't die of the stress. |

Hehe. Not the pajero ler, too big and very scary if she gets lost. I just let her roam about in my bf's Wira.
Shurie prefers to go to the backseat and play around. She'll just jump onto the backseat's brake lights (no idea what are those called, I'm hopeless in cars) and then start hopping around from one end to the other. Hehe. Very cute to watch. Added on June 13, 2007, 11:43 pmOnce, Shurie went into a hole at the corner of my friend's car, I almost got a heart attack! Especially since my friend said that the hole connects to the engine. Luckily, I heard a little scrambling noise coming from the dashboard. And when I opened it, out popped Shurie, looking at me like it was the most natural thing to do. Haha. Memories like these really makes me smile. This post has been edited by snowcandy: Jun 13 2007, 11:43 PM |

I've never tried tent-training, but I heard it's pretty efficient. What I did was to go into my toilet at 6am in the morning when everything's dry and bond with her in there.
And sure you can join the gathering, it's open for suggie owners and lovers alike, right Reanne? |

Pennywise, I'm just curious, but are you starting with only one or a pair of gliders?

Oh alright, you do know that bonding with a pair of gliders is tougher than bonding with one right?

I know most tents are pretty expensive. I wanted to do tent bonding too last time but then didn't want to spend that much on a tent. So I used the next best place, my own bathroom.
Added on June 14, 2007, 3:44 pmI just realised, Shurie sleeps at various places all the time, but they usually have one thing in common.. my clothes would be close to her sleeping area. Like right now, she's snoozing in my backpack filled with some shirts. And yesterday, she was sleeping in a pile of clean laundry. The day before, she slept near my blanket. xD This post has been edited by snowcandy: Jun 14 2007, 03:44 PM |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Jun 14 2007, 03:44 PM) Haha, I went nuts for a whole month before getting my first glider Eeks! Really?? The last time I went and check for a tent, it costs around Rm300+, that's why I abandoned the idea of getting a tent. Can't remember the place where I saw it though. If the cage has not been purchased, I'm sure you'll be able to find it As for tents, yeah, Tesco, Giant or Carrefour will have KP Perhaps it's about time I should go Tesco and check the price out too. |

Yeah, suggies can bond with more than one person if given the chance.
Currently Shurie's bonded with me and my bf, although she tends to use him more as a personal toilet. |

Wasabi started crabbing in the middle of a lecture today. Haha! Seriously miss listening to those crabbing sounds. And he loves your mix, Hun, but I'll leave it to sense_less to tell you how much.

Haha. Babysit them both? Don't think I can because I'll be using Shurie's cage for Shadow. They'll most likely end up fighting.

It's like that when you get your first glider.
I'm getting my second and yet I'm still excited about it! |

You should prepare everything your glider will need first.
CFP has prepared everything for his ferret even though they've not been shipped into Malaysia yet. |
