Hi everyone, I am planning to buy some emu oil from Australia on ebay. Ran a check on the customs website and saw that for "Other animal oils and fats (including neat's- foot oil and fats from bones or waste) ", there was a prohibition on import stating "That the import is accompanied by an import permit issued by or on behalf of the Director General of Veterinary Services under the Animal Act 1953 (Revised 2006) "
Do I need this permit if I'm only buying 1 bottle (250ml)? Thanks!!! |

QUOTE(alamdamai1 @ Dec 31 2009, 08:30 AM) guys, pls check on the Customs website for their Import Prohibition List whereby it is stated clearly all necessary agency clearances before you can bring your items in....pls don't be in the dark about this important matter.... Does your answer mean that even 1 personal item, not bought in bulk, also need the permit? My item costs less than RM100. Can I declare as gift? Added on December 31, 2009, 8:54 amI only found this: restriction of imports, but no procedures stated there.. anyone care to explain? This post has been edited by yun2: Dec 31 2009, 09:14 AM |
